My husband and I love the atmosphere of this place. Bright and open, it's very welcoming. You just want to hang out. Great chef with always fresh and new items. Best margaritas in Grand Junction! Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Music is fun too!

Some friends and I met here on a lovely, fall afternoon after a stressful work week.
As I walked up to Cruise Control, my attention was drawn to the lovely patio area, with its wide white umbrellas, and shade trees offering a cool respite from the sun.
Heading inside, l was struck by how spacious and light the everything was, with high ceilings, complimenting the generous bar and table groupings.
The menu was unusual for my taste. I'm not a hot dog or sausage person but if you are you will love this place! They also had a fun kids menu, a jackalope sandwich (made of antelope and rabbit), unique boards, soup & salads and some yummy, green potato chips that were to die for!
Our group agreed that our favorite item was the giant, pretzel with multiple dips. The peach and creme brulee dip were my absolute favorites! I even took my fork and scraped the last of the creme brulee dip out of the little container. 😜
As you can see from the menu, there are some fun and interesting liquid libations for you to choose from including many non-alcoholic drinks!
The atmosphere was laid back, the staff super friendly, and we simply loved our introductory adventure there!
The bathrooms were immaculate as was the entire restaurant!
Looking forward to the next time we meet here, and highly recommend you check this new, as of September 2024, addition to downtown Grand Junction's unique restaurant scene

This was such a great place to stumble upon. We love the up and coming food scene of Grand Junction and Cruise Control surpassed ALL of our expectations. Everything was delicious and the owner was so nice. If you want fresh food that tastes AMAZING you should definitely give this place a try. The Caprese salad was EVERYTHING.....try it, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Taryn for a great experience, it was a pleasure.

Northerner here.. born and raised outside of Chicago and I’m tickled pick by the menu and the vibe.. absolutely come try this place .. I’m sitting at a large padded comfortable bar stool and I’m a big girl .. excellent cocktail, live music .. I can’t wait to come back!

I came here after trying on wedding dresses and our bartender made our experience so fun! She was very attentive and kind. The baker board with the pretzel was delicious and my espresso martini was amazing ! They have clearly marked gluten free and vegan options which was great for my mom with celiacs. They have something for everyone!

Great owner operated local establishment. Awesome cocktails and now great food with the addition of the kitchen focusing on Chicago style sausages and hotdogs.

Very intimate, well lit space inside that pairs perfectly with the selection of alcohol. Also, with a new addition of a cozy private patio out front.

The food was super good! Especially the Gumbo, so delicious. Recommend trying it. Cocktails were awesome, I have the ebike. Our server, I forget her name but she was great and so sweet. It was a pretty loud with the band but we loved it! I will definitely be coming back.

Nice place with a really comfortable and welcoming vibe. The menu is eclectic with a focus on the Chicago area eating experience. Cocktails were excellent and the taste of the food was satisfying. However, the hot dogs are way shorter than what you get in the Chicago area and $20 for a pretzel?!? A ramekin or two of ok sauces cannot justify the price. Hope it survives, as it’s a great place to hang out, but the prices are pretty steep for what you get.
