I had a wonderful visit with Daven haven. Not as responsive with the phones as I would have hoped, but we were able to communicate with them at least once during our time there. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It is located at one entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and it had incredible views and wildlife!

I stayed at the Wildwood cabin cluster a short distance from the main cabins at Daven Haven, which is also run by the same owners. On arrival, it was clear the cabin had not been cleaned before our stay. There were layers of dust on the furniture and urine dried onto the toilet. Hair on the bathroom floor and shower drain. An overpowering, musty smell, despite windows being left open before our arrival. Stains on the bedspread. When I complained the next day to the front desk at Daven Haven, I was told, without an apology, "It should have been cleaned." I said I agreed, and asked if, since I had to clean it myself, I would be receiving a refund of some of the money I paid for a clean, comfortable stay. I was told that would be up to the owner, but when I tried to inquire further about what process to expect or when it might happen, the receptionist rudely shut down and disengaged. I checked out and still have not heard from the mysterious owner. For future guests hoping to avoid this unpleasant experience, check-in is not till 4 and the front desk closes at 4:30, so good luck trying to arrive in that time window to inspect your facilities before settling in. Good luck getting a refund if you encounter troubles. Grand Lake is a lovely little town in a great location, but I would never recommend staying at Daven Haven (or especially Wildwood) to anyone. It should be easy to find a much, much better place for the price.

Absolutely recommend! We had our wedding weekend at the Daven Haven and it was perfect! After our ceremony at Point Park, we all walked the 6-minute walk back to the pergola-covered patio for the beautiful outdoor reception. The lighting was just gorgeous for an evening, outdoor wedding, lit with candles and gas fire pits. Our friends and family stayed in the cabins, so we were able to spend much more time with our guests. We even had a burrito-bar brunch the next morning which our guests loved! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was hectic, but Carey and her team were incredibly accommodating. The morning of our wedding we had to change several things due to inclement weather, but Carey even got us heaters for the tent so we could be comfortable. I am so grateful for our overall experience with the Daven Haven and can’t wait to go back on our anniversary!

This is such a beautiful place!! Cabin #34, our cabin was great. Enough room for two adults and two children. The only thing that we didn't like was that the shower head was a little low and no tub, but we managed for our kids. The grounds are very pretty, Grand Lake still has that small town feel and not to touristy. The cabins are in walking distance from town like 5 minutes. I wish that the front desk person had told us this upon check in but, she didn't say much except for making sure payment was made, not very friendly. We recommend these cabins!!

Pet Friendly, gorgeous cabins! Last weekend I flew from Bloomington, IN to Grand Lake, CO and stayed here at Daven Haven Lodge with my travel buddy Natalie (a longhaired standard dachshund) in tow. It was an adventure of a lifetime! Our cabin was very clean, and decorative with great taste! Very comfy bed too (those are hard to come by) ||The owners Greg & Carie were wonderful and ensured I had a great stay and everything I needed. I stayed in cabin #38 It was adorable 😍 I would stay in this exact cabin again for sure! It was just perfect for my little dog and I, it also had a fully equipped kitchen! Wifi was also available. Best things of all about Daven Haven is the restaurant (steakhouse) and the close distance to town. I didnt have a rental car and walked everywhere. Dinner on Saturday night was Ah-Mazing! The French onion soup was to die for. Im a big French onion soup fan and it sure hit the spot. My entree was bowtie macaroni and cheese. Very very large portions I could barely finish it all! Overall Grand Lake was a wonderful trip, and it all started by having a beautiful, clean & pet friendly cabin to stay in. We will be back! ||Selena & Natalie 🐾

Food and service was exceptional. We got there after walking from hotel and it started raining. We arrived at 4 and they didn't open until 4:30. Yet they let us in so we didn't have to wait in rain. Staff was funny and professional. Food was excellent, fiancee had Tuna burger that she loved, fresh on homemade bun. I had pot roast that was some of the best I ever had. French onion soup was killer too. Pricing was reasonable and WE definitely will be back. Give it a try, don't think anyone will be disappointed.

Our wedding group stayed at Daven Haven Cabins and all of our guests raved about how great the property was! The cabins came equipped with everything we could need and were nice and clean. There were several great areas where we could all hangout as a group, we especially enjoyed the bonfire area and horseshoe pit. Margo and Greg provided us with great customer service throughout. Greg even went above and beyond to help us figure out a last minute detail for our wedding! We planned our stay from out of state so we’re not sure what to expect but Daven Haven exceeded our expectations! We cannot wait to come back!
