I feel guilty writing this review because the customer service was GREAT! Front desk was friendly and informative. We arrived with our 2 children and our dog. I understand there are specific rooms to accommodate animals, HOWEVER, the room was filthy. We were greeted with a very bad odor, faint cigarettes with something else. We had a non smoking room with burn holes in the blanket on one of our beds. Wrappers and stale fruit loops behind the microwave stand, other trash behind dresser, THICK dust film on all switch covers, white mucus (or what we hope was snot anyway) stains on the rolling chair. All furniture (microwave stand, dresser, night stand) is falling apart, the floor felt like grime so we opted to keep socks on. No body soap provided, only a facial bar to use on your whole body. I was too scared to remove the sheets and look at the mattress... the bed was, at least, comfortable, though. For the price, I'm disappointed. It wasn't a $30 room, this was a $90 room... All in all, the hotel is just outdated and needs renovation, BADLY. Giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the customer service was awesome.

Me and my boyfriend had to make a Short stop for the night while traveling to see my family. Upon entry I was greeted by a very friendly man if I recall correctly his name was John or Johnny. The room was very clean with a beautiful view. Not to mention the cute little restaurant near. In the morning on our way back on the road with did have some breakfast and the waffles hit just right.

Stayed here while traveling from Denver to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Staff was very friendly, but the rooms are not the cleanest and the hotel can definitely use some updating. We felt safe though. This place served its purpose for a quick overnighter. There’s not many lodging options in the area, so it’s a good option regardless.

This kind of hospitality can’t be faked. We stayed here for the last two days to spend the long weekend exploring the area and could not have found a more perfect place. From the minute we checked in we felt right at home and welcome. The room was clean and very quiet, and we LOVED the pool! We swam for hours both days we were there. For breakfast we all enjoyed the waffles and there was bountiful coffee, too. We will absolutely stay here again and are so thankful for the perfect weekend!
