Are you someone who hears the word "tour" and gets bored? Well, don't sleep on this place. They have a sipping room that you can enjoy whenever, but I would recommend adding on the tour to the pre-whatever you have planned on Main Street. Make a reservation and get your afternoon/evening started an hour earlier. So, first of all, HUGE shout out to Tammy, our tour leader. She was welcoming, informative, and...fun. It is a pretty cool back story too. LOVE their logo. You can tell Tammy was a teacher in a past life, as her explanations of everything you are learning is very much on point. And you DO learn a lot of stuff. She welcomes questions, and I had a lot of them. You also get to sample the product, and the product is GOOD. You might even think in your mind that you don't like whiskey, but don't let that stop you. They have so many KINDS of whiskey that Tammy or whoever will find one you like. They say this very well on their website. "Our distilling is steeped in whiskey tradition, but our methods are infused with curiosity and creativity." Perfectly said. Curiosity and creativity. I think they might pause the tours during the winter, but here is your first great idea for when they come back. To review, make plans on Main Street, reserve a tour, do the tour before your magical other plans, and then take on Buena Vista in a great mood. Tammy, thanks again! Definitely recommend, and see you there next year!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at DeerHammer Distillery, and I can confidently say it was one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had in Colorado! Their food, especially the burgers, is simply phenomenal. Each bite was a perfect blend of flavors, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both a casual meal and a special occasion. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. If you're in Colorado, DeerHammer Distillery is an absolute must-visit. Their burgers are the best in the state, hands down! Five stars all the way!

We booked the Whiskey Tour for my bachelor party and it was the BEST decision we made on the trip. The staff/owner were so friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and FUN. I highly recommend anyone to have some fun at Deerhammer with friends/family/celebrations. They will 100% take care of you and would love to go back someday!

This place has great whiskey and great atmosphere. They have inside, covered outside, and outside seating. It’s a dog friendly place and there were even families with kids here. They do have a happy hour but it’s only on certain days. Right now they have a hot cocktail and it’s perfect for chilly days.

Epic wisky, good food. Fun, games & outdoor seating. Order your food and drink when the pager goes off your meal is ready. Had the burbon burger with fries and cheese curds. Moscow mules were very tasty and strong!!!
