La principal razón por la que regresaría sería por la comida, aunque todo estuvo muy bien, el servicio, la atención, saluden a Cindy de mi parte, una excelente cocinera

For a fetish gay bar, this place is very fun and inclusive! The space itself is not the biggest. There is a main area, a pool room, and a pretty decent sized patio that tends to get pretty smoky when it's busy.

I will say that my husband and I feel way more welcome here than any other gay bar around town. The people here aren't afraid to actually strike up a conversation. Not super cliquey! Groups might stick to themselves but it's pretty easy to strike up a conversation with random people here and meet people.

Poker nights are especially fun and the owner JW is so good at cultivating a really awesome space for everyone! We're easily becoming regulars.

Do know that it is a gay bar aimed at the fetish community so there might be some body parts exposed and some beefy dudes with nipple rings wearing leather. It stays fun though and never noticed anything nonconsensual.

If you want a trade spot to hang with genuine gays, this is it.

It's my favorite gay bar in Denver. Employees are very friendly and hospitable. They also prepare well for events and themed nights, and actually create a different atmosphere on those days. The game night on Mondays and underwear night on Fridays are my personal favorites. Thank you for being there for our community, folks, it's much appreciated.

This bar has been such a transformative place for me. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and encourages genuine social interaction. It’s true that the vibe is fun and flirty, but I’ve always felt the staff is respectful and does a great job of engaging with everyone while still respecting boundaries—especially Tonio, who has a way of helping people feel more comfortable in their own skin. It’s a space where I’ve been able to open up, meet new people, and truly enjoy myself. I can’t recommend it enough!

Always enjoy my time there. The food is good for what they serve. Unlike some places, they don't try to serve foods that they can't handle. We always enjoy getting a snack there. They have a pool table, and they have expanded the space, which is nice. Allowing to go outside but still in the realm of the bar.

This bar is an odd one to figure out. Most people don’t seem to speak to anyone new — it appears to me that “new strangers” to the area are out of luck with the cliques it seems that stick to each other. I’ve been INTRODUCED into a few of those cliques, but it was only after someone mentioned that I was cute… and I should come and sit beside X person for a little bit and tell them more about me. I haven’t had ALL bad experiences at The Denver Eagle; when I first moved in I actually felt a twinge of “oh maybe this will be different!”…but lately… it’s been more and more escalated drama 🎭 to the point where now… I’ll likely never go back up there. I have had more animosity come from people who visit THIS bar, more than any other gay bar in the city… and I think that says more about the patrons than it does the bar, but that’s who you’re going to meet… and ultimately… the staff don’t care about you…aside from Alex (who left sadly 😢) and JW, the owner; someone is usually checking on people to make sure they’re having a good time… but as much as they have tried to liven and lighten up the vibe a bit, they can’t fix the bad behavior of literally JUST A FEW individuals who continually seem to have issues with staff and patrons and more… and it just became a problem for me. I don’t drink at all, so maybe if I did I wouldn’t have noticed so many things as quickly as I did… but… that’s just my opinion; my experience. If this is your tribe, then absolutely go for it. Overall this was just a 3-star night for me at max the several times I’ve been. Service @ the bar? Great. Barbacks keep the tables clear and clean and etc? Great, AND smoking is allowed out in the FAR BACK “patio” area where the toilet is… but the vibe just feels off somehow. I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️ what it is… but it just feels weird sometimes… and maybe it’s the not including “unknown” people thing that makes it feel like that. No one spoke to my BF and I, the many times we were patrons… until the Owner or a Bar Staff member came up and asked if we were having fun, and I’m brutally honest and said, not in particular 😂 and they then told me the “red light party” would start soon, and that should loosen folks up… but it really didn’t socially, very much. I would maybe visit again in a few months… maybe next year for Pride or something… but aside that I don’t know that I’ll be back to visit much more.

If you're gay, and if you're looking for a place to wind down, meet your chosen family and be who you want to be, come here. Some people might feel uncomfortable because they don't want to be themselves but this is your watering hole. The staff is your best friend and they cater to the "Eagle" brand clientle. If you dont know what that means, either you're a prude or you don't understand what being free means
