DJ Purple rocks out! His DJ'ing is phenomenal, and he keeps the fun, fast- paced vibe going with not only his saxophone playing, but various other instruments to accompany singers. Adding to the ambiance are his strobe lights and smoke machines that light up and go off with the music. He will also toss out the occasional inflatable guitars for performers to "play" while singing. His system is user- friendly, and his songbooks (both hard- copy and online) are easy to access/ organized. Hands down the most enjoyable time for karaoke in the Bay Area!

Where do I begin! DJ Purple has faced the pandemic head on and has kept the spirit and zest for karaoke well and truly alive. He hosts an amazing Zoomaroke show on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday nights that is without a doubt the best virtual sound you'll find universally, spatially, galactically, you name it. He's even tackled the greatest problem with virtual karaoke. Wi-Fi timing issues! Purple corrects that on his end and the audience goes wild with the on point performances. He's the only KJ that has figured out how to get people to perform duets and still sound good. In addition, he provides wicked backup vocals (his falsetto is unparalleled), plays multiple instruments such as sultry saxophone, hoppin' harmonica, and cool cowbell, and attracts amazing, encouraging folks to his shows.

Purple gives you step by step instructions for how to sing with his system.He is also very patient and is more than willing to walk you through the set-up steps. I highly recommend that you contact DJ Purple for any special events such as birthdays or corporate events that you have coming up since he is sure to deliver a fantastic high-quality fun time.

DJ Purple hosted my karaoke birthday party ONLINE on 12/8/20.

DJ Purple (Steve) does it all over Zoom, and he brings the lights (AND SAXOPHONE) of his live shows from his living room into you and your guests' Zoom room and it is absolutely awesome.

This was an especially memorable party for me because we could include friends from all across America! Steve and I discussed the format and went for 3 hours, with the first hour and a half for East Coast, and second hour and a half for West Coast. Over the course of the night, about 20 - 30 folks cycled in and out and we had a blast. Afterwards, many guests told me variations of "Wow! I didn't think it would work! That was the best Zoom party ever!!! Let's do it again?"

Steve has somehow worked audio-magic over Zoom, and everyone sounds *really good*. Even some normally-shy singers felt comfortable enough to sing from the comfort of their homes!
