I am a long time patron of the night owl in p.b. and Don's definitely has the same vibe. I absolutely loved it. The bartender was the sweetest curly haired blonde. The place was crowded for a Tuesday but everyone was incredibly friendly. It's the kind of place that you'd be able to walk outside for a smoke and leave your purse and no one would bother it. VERY nice locals. Truly a wonderful dive bar. Great prices, awesome happy hour deals and the coolest group of folks I've ever come across. There are just some places that you go in and you feel at home. Don's is worth the visit.

Don's is one of the last real dive bars in Lakeside/El Cajon.
competitive prices and very attractive beautiful bartenders.
The more you drink the prettier they are. Karaoke on Thursday/Friday nights. and a decent dance floor to boot. Don't let the outside fool ya, once inside you will feel the bar's old school charm.

Weird memorabilia all over the walls. Other than that, east county dive bar at it's finest! Cheap drinks, jukebox, pool, and a good fight if you're looking for one.

Pool table isn't level, but the competition is awesome, great service from the bartenders and the locals are friendly.
Good music and Karaoke a couple nights a week. Decent prices and good times.

Great little bar with friendly bartenders. When I went there they had a band called The Bi-Polar Express who played top notch and tight covers of blues as well as classic rock. Would definitely go to this place again if they were playing there. My wife loved the music and danced almost all night while I sat and flirted with Daphne the bar tender.

Loved the music. The drinks were good too. The location was icky and clientele was scary. The staff was going to the restroom together (in and out in less than 2 minutes). Don't think we will go back for a while.
