Before this court changed its name and remodeled the buildings. Used to house the old jail on the top floors of the El Paso Sheriff office until the County Commissioners shut it down in the 90s and transferred the inmates to the new jail on Fountain Blvd. My brother was in said jail and visiting him was a pain in the derriere. Most inmates in court used to say that "one comes to Colorado for a vacation and leaves on probation or parole". Just goes to show how legalizing marijuana has increased crime in the Springs. With that said.

I had to go to court over child support issues with my ex-wife in the 90s and observed the proceedings of other cases in other court rooms just to kill time. Overheard some inmates coin the phrase that I mentioned above which I found interesting. Lol.

The judges are fair from my observation and the building is clean. The day I went to court it was busy as heck it was "wall to wall" people. But, my advice here is stay away from the Springs if you want to not be a victim of crime.

Have been falsificación document since 2021 until today date. We have been suffering. A lot of litigations abuse. Our loess’s are more than $500 ,000 in damages. They pay this people. To con er crime and cover false alarms. With my money. Judge got sold. And they took evidences of children abuse for the system and all testimonies away lot of conflict of interest the is there same as fraud they are together with people that have money that false caused us to take our children away with crime. Paying money to this lawyer and a judge. Dirty money. Under the table to cover crime they have damages us in a very horrible criminal way. We have been scan many times there is a lot of crime cover if you have money they violated our rights. They took away all the help from ours lawyer. That we pay with big sacrifice. For the reason to cover their crimes for lawyer. That are sendings and commit crime. With judges. So is stressing for one’s lawayer and ease for criminal lawyer that by falsificación of make a lot of money.

Haven't had another guy ask me to take my belt off in a while. You're on the job sir, stay professional. The only person to pay at was on lunch. I know the job must suck, but y'all make enough money. You could at least hire another employee to rip people off with.

The security screening process was pretty Swift and simple even when the line was all the way out to the sidewalk I felt like it went quicker than I had expected. The facilities were clean and orderly the characters maybe not so much but it is a courthouse. The staff at the clerks office did their job and explained the process well. I also did not get any negative vibes and felt they were friendly given the circumstances. I imagine they deal with a lot of upset and rude people who are in probably some cases dealing with some difficult times in their lives.
