I wasn’t too impressed with this lounge. It was free with my priority pass membership, but I definitely wouldn’t pay $45 for a day pass. It was dirty, the food and beverage options were lacking, and the staff weren’t very attentive. They took some of the beverage containers away (maybe to clean them but didn’t bring them back) and we were there for over an hour. All that was left was gross-tasting tap water and iced tea. They also had a fridge with some soda options in them, but it was pretty empty. I also didn’t like that there weren’t any bathrooms in the lounge.

We went there ..the girl on front said there's 9 people in front of you ..wanna wait ? I asked how long that would be . She said I don't know 20 30 minutes .. at the same time, 6 people were leaving, 3 tables, got empty .. 5 people were in line after us.. i left... 10 minutes later or less ..I went to check .. no line . Multiple tables empty ..she is still playing with her phone .. before she was just holding it .. 3 minutes later, I walked back from I was going .. she was still playing with her phone.. 14 people got turned away when there was space for 6 . She was saying come back in 20 30 minutes ..pretty much to not check in people and do the work.. she needs to be fired.. I keep encountering people who don't want to work and make this experience of service a negative for people. .. you don't like your job. Find one you at least do, okay .. please get rid of this girl. Recent changes to the Escape lounge have decreased this rating to a one star. It now accepts Priority Pass, Chase, and Amex as well as who knows how many other memberships. The seating has been rearranged to pack people in, and it’s so crowded that being in the airport is more peaceful than being in the lounge. The food and drink options are mediocre at best. Spend some cash and go to one of the eateries or just wait at the gate, where it’s quieter and the bathroom is closer lol.

The bartenders were hilarious and so kind. I was here before my flight at 1:30pm on Friday, and the bartenders were curtious and lively. They really added to the energy of the place.

The food itself here is kind to whatever. The pineapple margarita is the go to though. Definitely get a few if you're up for it.

This Escape Lounge was horrible. It wasn't clean, and dirty dishes were visible everywhere. The food area was unkempt, empty, and not enough staff on duty.

Nicely surprised with chicken and rice entree. Great Italian sandwiches, cafe latte, and desserts. Awesome lounge to relax and recharge! Kudos to the management and staff at Escape Lounge Oakland Airport Terminal 1!

A first-time visit to the Escape Lounge Oakland on our way back from Lihue to Denver, and the staff deserves praise for how well they handled a very busy guest load. Every seat was in demand, and the staff did a great job keeping the lounge in top condition, with food offerings well- stocked and the line moving at the bar. Check-in was seamless and although several outlets were out of service, the staff worked to find suitable alternative locations for travelers to recharge their devices before their upcoming flights.
I'd like to single out Jackie, Maritza, Brittany and Maria for their cheerful, present customer attentiveness, and for doing their best to ensure that this lounge ran seamlessly on a very busy evening. Thanks to all of y'all, and I hope that this review is seen by management -- please give these women a raise!
