We had our wedding here in September 2024. The restrooms did not work on our wedding day, so they provided one porta potty for all of my guests. Every bride's dream! Andrea was absolutely wonderful and made the whole day run smoothly. This review is not a reflection on her.

Since the day of the wedding, it has been impossible to reach any staff. I have sent emails, left voicemails, and have heard nothing. Our deposit has not been refunded to us even though it clearly states in the contract that the refund will be paid 6-8 weeks following the event date. We are currently at around 22 weeks. Please do not book your event here, as they will steal your money and not provide any sort of compensation for the inconveniences faced on the event date.

My daughter and her now husband got engaged in July, during the middle of covid, and we weren't sure if we would be able to plan a normal wedding. Most places we called were not allowing food, dancing, mingling, and they were limiting the guest count. All of those things are important for a wedding! The Evergreen Red Barn was recommended by a friend and we are so happy we found this place. From the very beginning, we got a warm, friendly, family vibe. We were offered a few different discount options which made the venue so affordable. We loved that we could bring in our own vendors, which is so helpful. This helped us control our costs and keep the entire wedding very affordable. The Barn was quick to respond and answer all of my emails. Roger and Steve were great to work with. In the end, this was the most wonderful wedding for so many reasons; Beautiful location, perfect weather, amazing atmosphere (we provided patio refreshments and yard games for our guests). Many guests commented about what a great venue this was and people are still talking about it a month later. We highly recommend the Evergreen Red barn!

The venue is nearly impossible to get ahold of after booking. The bathrooms did not work during our wedding and we did not have the full table cloths / linens available. They had golf carts but the tires were flat. They told us there was a house for the rehearsal dinner but that wasn’t available even though it was promised. The house we got ready in was not cleaned and there were no seats available for the grooms my father in law is elderly and had to stand the entire day. The picture area wasn’t cleaned and we had to skip that area for photos. The host was late. The walkway for the wedding was overgrown and not ready for a wedding. The owners did nothing to console us and took MONTHS to return the deposit. They owe us extra compensation for a half done venue and will not budge. I would not recommend this venue. Run do not walk away from them

My husband and I had our wedding here in October, and it was a wonderful experience. It was a destination wedding and almost everyone had to travel from out of state, so we had lots of questions. The staff was friendly, responsive, and always helpful. We worked primarily with Roger and Steve and they took excellent care of us.

This venue has so much to offer - we had our ceremony outside at the Mountainside Arbor where it was so beautiful and peaceful. After our ceremony, we moved inside for our reception. We had 75 guests at our wedding, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Everything was perfect for our day and we would highly recommend Evergreen Red Barn to host your event.

We had our wedding here in July 2017. I loved how they really let you have your wedding however you want. They were super flexible and helped us achieve our unique requests. The price is extremely reasonable. They gave us 20% off the venue because no one had booked in July yet, which made the cost only around 3,500 for a summer Saturday. That was crazy to me. Such a good price for such a nice venue. Since they couldn’t double up on discounts, they gave us free linen rentals as our military discount which was really sweet and they totally didn’t have to do that.
The location is beautiful. The barn floor plan might be a little odd for a large wedding, but we only had 80 people, so we didn’t even use the basement and it worked perfectly for us.
Everything leading up to the wedding was easy and great. They are super helpful and were really patient with me when I changed my mind about things like the seating arrangements last minute.
Jessica was there the day of and was super helpful and I didn’t even notice she was there. Seriously an unsung hero of the day.
I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone with a smaller guest list. It was perfect for our 80 people and would probably even be great for up to around 125 people.

I had the privilege to photograph Abby and Mike's wedding at Evergreen Red Barn. A beautiful space right outside of Evergreen, CO. As a wedding photographer, I loved that there were many places to capture and create images for the couple. It also was a pleasure to work with such a great team at The Red Barn.

This review cost me $500. The venue is nice and so are some of the staff, but the office staff seems to be in complete disarray. We never received a contract in the first place after we paid our deposit. And, we never received a refund for a deposit that we were promised to receive -- even after following-up five times. It almost feels like someone out there enjoyed a $500 bonus.

TL;DR
I waited and waited to write this, as I kept hoping that Megan in the accounting office would finally send us the refund check that was promised to us on THREE different occasions. We were never refunded our $500 deposit that we paid to Megan via Paypal on 1/24/24 for a birthday party we had wanted to have on 6/8/24. We hadn't even signed any paperwork or contract detailing their cancellation policy or deposit policy, but we assumed we'd receive that shortly after paying the deposit.

Sadly, we had several deaths in the family as well as suddenly losing our beloved family dog all in the same month. The grief was too much for our entire family to deal with emotionally so we decided to cancel our party and reached out to them on 3/1. I spoke to Carl on the phone, and he was kind and understanding and said he would refund our deposit. I figured my cancellation was probably a good thing for them, as our party was a cheaper booking, but being able to book that date for a wedding would bring in so much more revenue for them. I realized I had never received the "check in the mail" as I was promised, so I reached out again on 3/11/24 and spoke to Andrea, who was going to reach out to Carl again. I waited and waited and then followed up again with Andrea on 8/4/24 when it occurred to me that again we had never heard back, but I didn't hear back. I wrote to the main office and Megan again on 8/22/24 and she responded on 8/27/24 saying she thought she had sent it already. On 10/10/24, I reached out AGAIN to Megan. I have never heard back. When I think about this, I get so upset, so I am finally posting the review I sincerely hoped I wouldn't need to write.

The Evergreen Red Barn was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a venue in Colorado. There is a lovely outdoor option for the ceremony and prime picture spots! The interior of the barn accommodated the number of guests we had, and allowed us to have a bar(with recommended bar tender service). The dance floor was roomy and there was enough room for a DJ and a few live musicians. Overall the customer service and venue were fantastic. Especially for the price!
