(Aug 2024) Pulled pork, ribs, and onion rings was good. I liked the sauces on the briskets.

The back outdoor patio was nice but was still blazing hot from the heat outside. I feel like the heat was intensified by the sun reflecting off the parked cars or from the roof gathering it.

Staff was nice to bring some water for our dogs. Service was quick but, just to note, they were originally reluctant for us to be in the back patio since it wasn't set up.

The fried ribs were good. I did not like the Mac and cheese, or the roll. The roll could have been heated and served with some butter. The chicken strips were ok, but the tater tots were good. The service was a little different, you seat yourself, you look at the menu, then you have to go order. They do not come take your order at the table.

Either you're going to love this place or it's a once and done. Everything tastes fresh and is made to order. You won't find a pool of grease on your plate, just fresh ingredients. There was a lack of flavor in everything I ate. Even the tri-tip was bland and not tender. The mac and cheese and chili were hot, but flavorless. If you prefer your food on the bland side, this is your type of barbecue restaurant. Perhaps, I didn't order the right item on the menu. I would recommend the restaurant thinly slice their meat to make it more tender. This is not a good date spot, because there's nothing to do to prolong the date.

I can't imagine believing the lower reviews. Either they lack the ability to taste or they're jealous this place absolutely craps on whatever they bbq at home. Though I've never been to Texas, but having spent some time in the Carolinas with good old southern cookin', this place easily compares and beats it.

Highly recommend the bbq at Fat City. The Dino Ribs on Father's Day was easily the best tasting cut of meat I've ever had hands down.

I've come to love the BBQ Brisket hamburger and the Pastrami is also to die for. This isn't a one off review; I've come here many times, tried a variety of menu items and have yet to leave without being thoroughly satisfied.

Staff and atmosphere were great. A bit pricey but the portions were decent. Junk Nachos were $15 and okay. Three meat plate cost $39.99, but the meat was luke warm and bit flavorless. Couldn't stand alone without sauce and the meat was dry. Didn't seem like it came right of the grill, like it was sitting in a tray for awhile. Mac was below average. Potato Salad was ok more on the sweeter side. We were full when we left. But don't think they we may go back (an hour drive for us).

On the Miracle Mile in Stockton, this is a hotspot for authentic BBQ. Owned and operated by Don and his team, this guy does an outstanding job providing delectable plates that would please just about anybody. The portion sizes are very generous, so bring an appetite and a friend. Very clean restaurant and good vibes. TouchTunes jukebox allows you to play whatever music you’re feeling without many restrictions. Father’s Day special was Dino Ribs, I’m speechless…Unbelievable smoke ring and the flavor was killer. For such a large piece of meat it was tender and juicy. With specials everyday, $14 Domestic pitchers, good music and killer food, you can’t go wrong.

10/10 Highly Recommend!

Edit: Please add REUBEN and CUBANO sandwiches to the menu. I can ensure you these will be popular at this location.

A lot of barbecue places claim to be the best in town and I've traveled all over the United States. Eating at barbecue places. This is hands down. One of the best if not the best. And they do not gouge you on the prices, which I can highly respect. Their barbecue is amazing so much so that i've ordered two racks of ribs three times this week. They also have a huge selection of beer if that's your thing. But what stands out most to me about this restaurant? Is the fact that they don't rely on barbecue sauce to make their food good? It's good just by itself. Barbecue sauce is icing on the cake. And the best part about their ribs is it's not skimpy ribs like you encounter, they are fat. Decadent ribs. 10/10
