I went to the Federal Bar and Grill because I saw online that they have GF fish and chips. Most of their menu is GF. My server Emily asked if I had any allergies when I ordered, and it was quickly served. There were 4 chunks of GF beer battered cod fillets on a bed of fresh French fries and garnishes with paprika. The tartar sauce is homemade. The fish was light, crunchy, and perfectly cooked. It was not greasy, and I really enjoyed it. Emily was a wonderful server and very friendly. I definitely recommend.

This spot is amazing period. The food offerings along with the beers. I love #santefebrewingcompany and this is the only bar I have come across that offers it here in Denver. Everybody who enters Federal Bar and Grill will be a HappyCamper!

I LOVE this restaurant! I’m 100% gluten free and so it majority of the menu, so it’s very refreshing to have a safe place to eat with good food! I always get a regular cheese burger on a gluten free bun with fries, and I’m OBSESSED with the loaded potato skins… so good!! My boyfriend loves the sweet potato fries and the BBQ pulled pork sandwich as well. Staff have always been pleasant and welcoming as well!

Great experience. We went over to watch part of the Super Bowl. The place is very cool, and the staff is very friendly.
I was excited to see soooo many gluten free options.
We had some chicken to start, then fish and chips and reuben. Big portions! Chicken was absolutely great, as was the Reuben. The fish and chips impression was more mixed - the batter was great, but the fish itself wasn't the best. I wouldn't expect some amazing quality, so that would be fine, but I'd recommend for the kitchen to add lots of lemon juice and a bit of salt before dipping it in the batter, could remove some of the muddy taste, plus it's difficult to season it later.
Happy overall, though, we will be back. With some many GF options, I couldn't be happier to have a spot like this!

Great service! Amazing GF options for a bar! Loved the fries but our serving had a lot of “crumbs” rather than full fries. The garden salad quantity wasn’t worth the price. Chicken nachos were tasty!

Excellent food! The nachos were huge and very filling. We got the Chuck Wagon burger to split as well and it was good, but the fries were great! There is a popcorn machine that you can get free popcorn if you ask your server for some. Our waitress was accurate and fast, but her attitude and personality were pretty flat. Overall my wife and I really enjoyed our lunch here and if we lived in town, I believe we’d come back.

Service was fast, the owner even stopped by to answer some questions about all the gluten free options which are abundant. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend if you are celiac or just want to feel like a local!
