Absolutely pissed and grossed out right now. Ordered takeout at 6:30, the lady on the phone said it would be ready at 7:45. We then show up and are greeted with a weird “glad you made it” comment, has us thinking she meant 6:45 and not 7:45. So our food was sitting there for an hour and we are only 5 min away. If she did mean 7:45, the food was super cold and seemed old. The steak fettuccini was gritty and tasted like water, no cheese, steak tasted like soy sauce. The meatballs and tasted old and flavorless. I cannot express the lack of seasoning, I’m not very picky but there was not one seasoning on that fettuccini, $90 later and we practically threw it all away. I would’ve rather ate McDonald’s I can’t even make that up. So disappointed by one of the “best” restaurants in town. Food channel should be embarrassed 🤣 Garlic mikes needs to use some garlic or something, so bland. Also the salad came dressed so it was all mushy and wilted. Despite the possible miscommunication. The food was absolutely tasteless and inedible.

Great food provided with quality fast service while super busy. This was our first visit and everyone was working well in teamwork and checked all the boxes. The food was delicious and when you combine that with great service it creates a great night out. Request a reservation in advance as it is a busy restaurant with a great reputation. The best place to eat in Gunnison in my opinion. Thanks again for the wonderful experience.

We just had the most amazing dinner at Garlic Mikes! The mushroom soup was wonderful, the Prime Rib done perfectly, and the Shrimp Scampi was cooked and seasoned exactly as one would expect. The shrimp were fresh, large, and very tender. Delicious! Nona’s lemon cake was an exquisite ending to the meal along with two warm cups of Nutty Monks. We enjoyed watching one dish after another being prepared by the talented chef and his assistants. Every dish looked so appetizing we wished we were staying in Gunnison longer so we could sample more of the menu.
From the receptionist to the young gentleman filling water glasses, and the two waiters, all of the wait staff were friendly, attentive and made wonderful recommendations. How lucky Garlic Mike’s is to have them.
We have had several dining experiences all over the country that so memorable that we still reminisce about them - Garlic Mike’s will definitely be added to that list. Thank you so much. We are looking forward to a time when we can return to Gunnison and enjoy another meal with you again.

What a great stop on the way to Crested Butte from Gunnison! Make sure you call in your reservation (yep, leave a message). You'll be glad you did. The outside might surprise because it's a small road house by the river, but inside lies a great Italian restaurant. We had the specials, which included prime rib in peeper sauce and halibut in lemon caper sauce, both cooked perfectly. They also have an outdoor bar right next to the river where you can order drinks and food in a VERY Colorado setting. This is a must-stop that I've missed till now with over 30 years in this state. Will dine there again!

We chose this place for my dad’s birthday dinner while visiting from Dallas, and it was a mixed experience. The main meal was good, but the orange juice was spoiled, and the forks were dirty, which was off-putting. It also seemed like they were understaffed, as service was a bit slow. Overall, the restaurant is overpriced for what it offers.

What can I say, "The flavors here are out of this world! Every bite was an explosion of fresh, vibrant ingredients perfectly balanced. The attention to detail in the presentation made the meal feel like a work of art. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall incredible dining experience. I especially loved the spaghetti and meatballs—it was a showstopper! I can’t wait to come back and try more from their amazing menu. Highly recommend this gem!"
