First time here. Very friendly staff and generous portions! More than enough food to eat. It's cafeteria style. The food was delicious. I loved the cornbread pancake. We had beef stew over rice, cabbage, corn, sweet potatoes and regular potatoes with gravy. And included were salads which we took to go. We'll be back to try breakfast next!

GK Restaurant is absolutely wonderful place to have your grandma's cooking without all the mess at home! My wife and I really enjoyed the delicious hot bar with such a huge variety.

My wife and I recently ate breakfast here on a weekday morning, after what I would call the earlier very busy period. We each had 2 eggs cooked as ordered, along with sausage/bacon, toast, and hash brown potatoes. We also had orange juice, and I also had a side of grits. We both were very satisfied with our food. Also, the waitress was very courteous, friendly, professional, and checked on us frequently. We will be going back to GK ( "Granny's Kitchen").

First time in. Food tasted good. Not a buffet like previously thought. Paid almost $20 including tax for a small serving of spaghetti and 3 sides. Although it tasted good, I don’t believe it was worth spending that much.

The food was great. I was blessed to have the ribs in which the meat was literally falling off the bones and melting into my mouth. However, I was not satisfied with the dressing because it was actually stove top stuffing

SERVER'S ATTITUDE!!!
I was just there about an hour ago. I was at the back where the meats are, and I was telling the server my three sides. I asked if they had potato salad, and he stated, "Do you see any potato salad?"I was in shock, and I said I am just asking, and he repeated "if you don't see it, we don't have it." I was told once people do not know they have potato salad, because it is kept up front with the desserts to keep it cool. Finally, another server put his finger up to his mouth, to let him know to stop talking. He asked him where was my other side and he told him he didn't know because I did give a third choice. I told him I did, but he was too busy arguing with me to hear what I said. Apparently he is the owner's son, because I heard him say, "Dad is having problems with the cash register." I have been here so many times, and had given them 5 stars ?, but now, because of attitude and embarrassment, I have given them 1 ?. Remember, when you show people attitude, they do not have to support you! SHAMEFUL!

The food was really good. If you want home cooked you need to go here. All the staff was really friendly.
