My husband, Reid and I got married at Gold Hill Inn this past fall and cannot believe how perfect it was. The outdoor ceremony was magical, the food was delicious and Brian and Chris were absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The Gold Hill Tavern is very unique in its turn of the century decor. All the dinnerware and utensils are different. The service was great and the food was good. 3 or 6 course meals. Worth the trip to Gold Hill.

Let's start with the food. The meals taste like they were homemade from your family's kitchen with ingredients gathered from their back yard. It is hearty, fresh, and delicious. It is never over salted. They also are incredibly accommodating for allergies - in particular, they accommodated my gluten allergy with the most divine gluten free bread.

The service is again like you are eating in your family's kitchen. Genuine, interested, and approachable. Waiters care and it shows.

The ambiance is paramount to this spot, with wood floors and ceilings. With antiquities and comforts on the eye. This is a well-kept gem, one that I was hesitant to even review (selfishly) as this establishment goes over and beyond.

We had a delightful dinner at Golf Hill Inn. My husband called ahead to make reservations and confirmed that they were able to accommodate our diet restrictions (vegetarian for me, no onions for him). After a gorgeous drive about 45 minutes from Broomfield, we arrived and were greeted by the maître d'. He let us know what the dinner options were as there is no printed menu.
We were seated and greeted by the wait staff. There are no sections in the restaurant, so all of the waiters take care of all of the patrons. They were all attentive and we never ran out of beverages.
We both decided on the 6-course meal and enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere was nice and perfect for our anniversary dinner and looked like it was great for some group gatherings as well. There was a live band in the bar, which was in a separate area from the dining room.
Definitely recommend.

Had been here many times in the past, but this time was different. The food was so-so, not bad but nothing to praise. We had a couple waitresses, one who was fine and the others who seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. Service was spotty.

I am only reviewing the dinner. I went with a group of 50 people. The dining room was inside a huge log cabin. It has a lot of character. The outdoor picnic tables were cool with a little band stand and a bar window. But as the end of day comes around and the wind picks up, watch out. Brrr. Unfortunately the meal was bland for me. I had sliced lamb with sides that were uninspiring. The best part was the warm bread and the rhubarb crumble. Maybe just an off night?

Cosy little bar. $45 per person for 6 courses meal. The building is super old. It is more than 100 years I believe. It is located at the very top of the mountain. The blue grass band was playing during our stay. On our way back, we saw the night views of the entire Boulder and the lightings in the cloud which is super cool.
