What an amazing experience! We came to Guava Beach as a party of 12 for dinner and had a great time. The service was fantastic and helped us to pick a few shared appetizers. We loved the queso and ceviche as well as (something they are know for) the margaritas.

The appetizers were filling but most people had the tacos for dinner. I had the harvest veggie dish and was surprised by how many options there were for vegetarians.

This spot has been recently renovated and is a great friendly and approachable spot for locals and tourists alike to grab an easy meal, enjoy a nice environment and watch some sports (or just hangout!)

This place is 5 stars for so many reasons - the atmosphere is great (perfect for padres games!), the staff is so friendly and personable, and the food and drinks are perfect. I had the carne asada and chicken tacos as well as queso and a margarita and all were great. Our larger group had such a great time getting to know the staff and loved learning about the history of Guava as well. Absolutely will be back!

Exceptional food and exceptional service. We were in town for a quick getaway and stopped by for the Vikings game. The staff were on top of everything even though it was really busy. They were all kind, attentive, and a lot of fun!

On top of that the food was fantastic! We had the calamari app, the kale & quinoa salad, and the mahi mahi. And tiramisu for dessert. Next time we're in the area we'll for sure be back!!!

I'm from MN and I was in San Diego for a short time. My son recommended this bar to watch Vikings games. I went with no expectations. It was crowded an hour before the game and never emptied out. The beer was great as well as the food! Of course, they had the Vikings game on and played music during commercials. I really liked the bar and will definitely go back if I'm in town!

If you know the street racing term "Sleeper", please apply it to this resturant. A sleeper of sleepers,

I never thought that such a culinary experience of such robust flavors with strong exotic undertones would exist hidden in a bar grill like this.

I was so captured by the juxtiposition of flavor and aesthetic contrasts I had to not only come for New Years, but the next day.

Ask for Alexa or Shawn, they are the magicians of this culinary experience that went far beyond to ensure my Tuna was complimented with a Wasabi mixture that would make KINJIRUSHI jealous.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Ate at bar which was fun. The hamburger was too spicy for me and I would have enjoyed it more with less heat. But overall it was delicious. Partner had salmon taco and the carnitas taco. Both delicious- the carnitas taco was packed with tasty meat. We will visit again!

Generous portions super friendly staff courteous nice clear Sharp TVs looking forward to coming back. Sorry I have to reevaluate. The problem is a hidden sneaky ought to be against the law 4% service charge on everything so the prices aren't really the prices Bad Business practice. Just raised the price. And the waitress kept all my change from my bill and still expected more of a tip the change she kept was equal to about 14%
