Nothing here but about 8 sites and a couple of vault toilets. 100yds to Colorado River. Road noise from I-70 100yds away also.

Picture is the view from our site. The campground runs parallel to the highway and on the other side there is a gun range so depending on your personal sleep needs consider these things. I grew up next to the freeway so it didn't bother me. There is a creek close by.

We were driving through Vail as we decided to stop at the hot springs. Had a great time, and needless to say we were ready to bunker down. We stopped at this little 8 spot camp ground right off of I 70. Beautiful view just a tad noisy

NO LONGER FREE. Now costs $20 a night. Seems like a lot of BLM in Colorado is doing this. Aren't taxes supposed to pay for maintenance to these areas?
For a week that's $140. That's almost $600 a month they can make off of one site. Several sites at the campground. I refuse to believe alllllll of that is going to maintenance and upkeep.
Write your state representatives people. This needs to stop or there needs to be transparency and accountability about where the money is going.

I’m only going to give it four stars because the actual camping sites are a little close together and kind of out in the open and there are campers there that obviously have been parked for several months. I don’t like to park and camp next to those type of campers.
I chose to use the picnic area (there are two) for daytime use, I packed my things back in my truck and slept inside. However this is a great place to stop off if 70 is closed.

I don't even know where to start after the recent fire we had at the gypsum campgrounds decided to Camp down there this spring since they opened up the trash and the Clutter is just disgusting you think in a community that we have here in Gypsum people would want to join together and clean things up well this is what I managed to do with just 40 minutes of my day and only one Camp spot!!!

Noisiest campground I've ever stayed in. Had to wear earplugs because of freeway noise. And what's up with that 35' motorhome with no front end or engine, in one of the camping spots? Been there forever...
