Gypsum Creek Outfitters is an exceptional business ran by exceptional people. I have the utmost respect for this business and their guides, they are so focused on excellence. I have never seen anyone hunt as hard as these folks do. I just got my 2023 bull back from the taxidermist and could not be more happy with my experience or my bull! Tim & Gin are fantastic business owners and the growth they have each year, speaks to their high standards and commitment to what they do. Seeing the way they value the community in Gypsum and also the hunting community, is what every entrepreneur should aspire to. I am looking forward to returning, yet again!

I hired Tim for a semi-guided first season elk hunt for my son and I and he was great to work with. Very accommodating in helping me get exactly what I wanted in a hunt, and he knew the area very well. The cabins were awesome to stay in and the area is beautiful. My son was able to harvest his first ever bull and it was a hunt we will remember forever. Great people, hard working guides, and good elk hunting. Thanks again!

I went down with my cousin for a mule deer hunt. We hunted 2nd season mule deer with Tim. We were paired with Colin for a guide. 5 stars for Colin. Everything was great!! The guys worked there tails off for us. Plenty of snow and that never stopped us from getting anywhere. Accommodations were comfortable and everything I would expect on a mountain hunt. Tim knows the area and works hard for his clients. We will go back at some point and Tim will have our business. We wouldn’t even consider looking for other options.

I guided at this business last year for the first time, and 2 out of 3 of my clients harvested bulls. All my clients were 60+ years old too. Being a 5th Gen I was excited to be part of the team, everything started off great, I was showing everyone new country that I grew up hunting, but as soon as season ended I helped Tim plow, but due to some hard life circumstances, I couldnt help anymore. Tim said it wouldn't affect guiding, and during archery myself and another guide got cut, after finding out two other guides were coming back. Tim left me a series of unprofessional messages saying I'm a druggy, and I don't have a reliable car, the list goes on. Nothing but constant drama. I did nothing but help them and try and show them new country, just to be stuck without a job this fall along with another guide. Don't be their next victim. Tims not a native. He will use your information and leave you in the dust.

Tim and Gypsum Creek Outfitters provided an exceptional season 4 elk hunting experience. Tim is always prepared and he prides himself on maximizing the opportunities for his clients. He and his guides have an uncanny ability to predict and track elk movements, so much so that we spotted elk at each stop we made to glass. You cannot out work Tim and team - he ensures each client has the best opportunity based on the hunter’s skills and limitations. G.C.O. is a “ best-in-class” outfitter. The recent addition of two hunting cabins on his property made the after hunt experience more comfortable. Tim was a fantastic guide for my first rifle 2023 bull elk hunt in unit 44. He knows the terrain like the back of his hand and is relentless in going after the elk. He has great access to choice locations on public land and all the equipment needed to get in and out. At the end of the day results are what count and Tim made it possible to get my first bull elk after 5 years of trying! I would not hesitate to work with Tim and his crew again if I get another tag for the area.

What an adventure! I have traveled the world and been on many vacations, but this was the best trip I have ever been on. If you are a big game hunter this crew will set you up for success. If you are there for the views they have that as well. I plan on coming back out here with this outfitter because they are some of the best scouts and make you feel like you are part of the crew. Gypsum Creek is such an amazing place and I have memories that I will hang onto forever.
