A most beautiful setting for a family wedding. After a year and a half of pandemic separation, the Hamill House and its grounds were the perfect venue for bringing together our families to celebrate the newlyweds. Andersen Park was precious for the ceremony site! I can not give enough positive accolades for how well Janine Weeds and her team cared for each and every detail and helped us pull off a memorable event! I highly recommend Hamill House as a elegant backdrop for special events. If I could give 10 stars in this review, I would!

A beautiful old home. So many details to take in! We wandered in early afternoon and had the place to ourselves to explore. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the home and it's history.

This place has the most special place in my heart. We got married here on 09.17.2022 and it was pure perfection. I'm still dreaming about it! The Hamill House team,Nancy and Eva, are nothing short of fairy godmothers who were so great to work with. I cannot give enough praise for all their love, support and efforts to making our big day magical. Suffice to they, we would have been lost without them! We were engaged for 2 years and visited here multiple times during the prep and it has always been a joy and absolutely breathtaking. I'm still hearing guests say they've never been to a more beautiful wedding venue! Whether you are using this for an event, touring the house or just walking by you will fall in love.

We were married there last weekend. Absolutely gorgeous venue.
Perfectly magical and off the beaten path. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Working with Janine was so easy and she reduced my stress ten fold. She really knows what she's doing and has such a love for the venue and the town. I cannot recommend this place enough for a wedding, special event or just to enjoy the museum.

Tour guide was fantastic and interesting. He was kind, knowledgeable, and you could tell he enjoyed spreading the history of this family and home. The house itself was beautifully (mostly) restored and well kept. Its currently under going some restoration on the building to repair damages but you're still able to view and walk through most everything.

It was a little disappointing that we couldn't take photographs inside the home, but the tour was well worth the visit either way.

What a lovely property. We were married here this past weekend and it was a perfect venue. The property is gorgeous with so many photo ops, the staff are sweet, helpful, caring and accommodating. I highly recommend using this space for events or just stopping by to view the quaint early 1900's home/ museum. Plus it was Mark Hamill's (Luke Skywalker) great-grandfathers house! What more could you ask for!

This is a beautiful historic building in the throes of being renovated. Yet even as there is still much more to do here, the exquisite attention to the smallest detail everywhere makes a visit to this museum well worth it. The Hamill House was once a truly elegant piece of Georgetown history. As restoration continues, it is again becoming a precious gem in this wonderful old historic town.
