Japanese restaurant run by Chinese.

ATMOSPHERE: The music was the same 3 minutes on repeat for 1.5 hours...so annoying!!! The booths are solid plywood with no cushions which isn't great.

FOOD: The Sushi all tasted kind of the same, we all thought the same. It was fine, but overall underwealming. The Sashimi was very good but the chefs had to look at the package to tell me the fish type.

THE GOOD: The best thing is that they have some good value rolls on the menu.

Overall, we won't be back. It was OK, but that's all

This is our go to place for sushi and other Asian cruises. The food is always spot on, perfectly prepared. Our favorites are: fatty tuna, laksa, baked mussels, panang chicken etc. we actually never had a bad meal there. The family who runs the restaurant is super nice and friendly. The service is always great. Highly recommended.

The food was incredible. Sashimi and mussels were amazing so were the Udon noodles. But the service was even better. We brought our 1 year old along for an early dinner. Usually he’s relaxed and has a great time. For whatever reason he was unusually fussy. A parent’s worst nightmare when eating out. But the team at Hana was amazing. They kept him entertained, giving him high fives, interacting with him and just so genuinely nice to him. They asked his name, how old he was and I couldn’t be more thankful for how gracious they were towards our family. Thank you. We will be back!

The lighting doesn't do the photos justice, but it was amazing. Both presentation and taste were phenomenal. Loved the food and the atmosphere. A nice date location or a fun place for a get together amongst family. The prices were decent for a sushi based meal, came out to roughly $20/person.

I actually cannot believe how incredibly bad the service was here. We waited forever for our server to come over and take our order, I ordered chicken teriyaki, my friend order tuna tartare, and we ordered two sushi rolls. My chicken came out about three minutes later, and we waited almost 40 minutes for the rest of our food. we had to flag down our server multiple times to ask her where our food was, she just kind of mumbled something and walked away each time. Three separate times she told us that it would be ready in two minutes, and another 10 to 15 minutes went by each time. I understand that they were very busy when we came in, but this is no excuse. We had to flag somebody else down to ask where the salad was that was supposed to come with my meal and didn’t, they never brought it, I don’t even know that we actually got the sushi rolls that we ordered, it was a disaster. We had to ask somebody else to finally bring our check to us, and after our server walked by our table multiple times with our credit card in the book standing straight up, I finally had to ask her to go and run the card. I will absolutely never come back here and I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you would like to be at the restaurant for less than two hours with horrible service.

After seeing the good reviews and because we are trying to sample all of the well-reviewed Japanese restaurants in the area, we got takeout from this place one recent evening. I ordered the deluxe sushi sashimi combo and was disappointed. The fish was just fresh enough, but only barely, the slicing and presentation of the sashimi and sushi was not very good, and the sashimi actually had a small portion of fish tail in one piece, which isn’t acceptable at all. The included sushi and dragon roll were all barely average as well. For the nearly $40 entree price before tax and tip, it left a lot to be desired. I also got some fried chicken and it was either actually calamari or was marinated in a way as to make the meat’s texture and color look different than any chicken I’ve ever seen. The miso soup was above average, at least. We have discussed trying again but this time, dining in. When I picked up the order, the restaurant itself was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal, so maybe takeout just isn’t their thing? All in all, though, we were pretty disappointed in our first experience.
