I hate to put out a bad review, weve been living in ojai for 20 years, and never been. Mother's Day we decided to go..my daughter wanted to treat me..how sweet. We were seated, just beautiful. So we thought okay all is good, and my daughter was happy. We were happy, until we weren't. So the waiter was very nice..but it took along time to get our food. My daughter had the lemonade, and i the arnold palmer..both were grose..taste like sour water. The appitizer came out, didn't like it.
I ordered the lamb burger- the combination was nasty. All the flavors didnt mesh well.
My daughter ordered the fried chicken sandwich- she thought it was ok..she didnt finish it.
My son the brisket melt- he said it was disgusting it taste sour and grose. He didn't finish it.
The ranch was sour and tasted funny.
The only thing that was edible were the fries, but even those were saturated with lots if oil.
$94 later we left a bit disappointed. The owner Anne was very sweet and very kind..all though we wont be back. I hope that if you try, u have a better experience. The place itself was beautiful..ps the water wasnt good either. But again the owner was sooooo nice, thank u for a beautiful ambience though..

Came here for an early dinner as part of a girls day out last minute. A hidden gem! The food and drinks were great, service was also great, but that might be because we were the only ones in the whole restaurant. I hope they can drum up more business, especially on a Saturday night. The interior ambience and decor needs a refresh and the hostess podium outside needs to be manned. The menu needs an update as well, this place has a lot of potential just needs to be marketed better. We would come again next time we're in town.

The restaurant looks pretty, that's about it for me. We googled restaurants to eat in Ojai since we were on a day trip there, and this one had such good reviews that we decided to go for lunch.
We ordered burgers with fries and despite of how nice it looks in the picture the burger and fries were warm at best and the meat patty was burned, so much so that it was tough to eat and incredibly dry, same thing with the fries. We usually order burgers well done (especially since we order for our kid too), and on every single restaurant we've eaten, it has always been juicy, so this one was a complete letdown considering we were driving from LA and were already very hungry at the time. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend it to others since it wasn't a good experience.

Charming little Ojai, a one-time hippie enclave in the mountains not far from Santa Barbara or Ventura, is now home to an assortment of artists, winemakers, Hollywood celebrities, and a host of free spirits. Harvest Moon is one of my favorite cafes there, hidden in plain sight on the main street adjacent to Libby park. (Look closely for their sign on the sidewalk.) We always sit outside, altho there is indoor seating. Their hefty lamb burger is spectacular, served with goat, cheese, fig, jam, red onion, and aïoli. And their fries are the best I've ever had, hands-down. They are browned on the outside, incredibly creamy on the outside. And they give you a generous portion. We usually stop by on Sundays after visiting the wonderful nearby farmers market. Try the local pixie tangerines! Lunch service can sometimes be a little slow on weekends, but we are there for leisurely dining and don't mind, especially when there is a taiko drum or other performance to listen to from the park next-door.

This place was pretty good. I had the potato pancakes and they were not a traditional potato pancake but it was still pretty good and the wife had chicken and waffles and i thought they were really good.service was great and we got sat right away.
