Great place to stay with family or friends. Comfortable and super clean rooms. Pool, hot tube, sauna, game room, and movies, exceptional homemade breakfast and above all, attended by its owners Carla and Mike who are so sweet!!! Great little details which make you feel like family. I loved the cookies with hot chocolate! Highly recommended! We will return in the summer to see the colors of this season. Thank you for so much love in every detail.

Excellent lodge for after a day of skiing! Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The fresh-cooked breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be back!

This sweet gem is an absolute must for anyone traveling through this area! My husband and I arrived in the early evening with our toddler in tow. I was taken by the immediate kindness and warmth of the owner as we checked in and wrote our breakfast order. To our delight, there were remaining warm cookies, hot cocoa, and tea for us to indulge on. My husband loved dipping in the hot tub and I was charmed by the rooms as they are spacious yet cozy. The owners were kind enough to leave a pack n play for us, giving my little one a place to sleep.

Breakfast the next day was perfection, simply sublime! The owner and his sweet wife prepared a delicious meal for us to feast on before we continued our journey. They even thought of a sippy cup for my little one.

I mention all of the above to highlight their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Traveling with a young family requires planning and thinking on the fly, at Hideaway Mountain Lodge I felt as if I was in a beloved family member's home. Their warmth, thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and incredible food is something I will cherish for years to come.

A very pleasant and helpful couple who own / run the Lodge.|Our room was super clean and very comfortable. We had asked for a room accessible from the higher driveway, to make getting our large suitcases to the room's back door much easier to manage. The room then supplied had a microwave and a fridge.|Cookies fresh from the oven were supplied for afternoon tea.|Glorious Aspen foliage colour all around in the last week of Sept.|The supplied breakfast was also pleasing.|The lodge is a bit tricky to get to (with the final mile or so on well formed gravel) thus I would recommend noting the location’s Lat and Long = 39.94632 and -105.86605.

It was lovely and quiet - tucked away from the busy strip of Highway 40 with easy access to trails, restaurants, etc. Our hosts were friendly, mellow and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with Mike. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy. It was a relaxing and much needed getaway from daily life in Denver.

This was the best stay of our vacation. Beautiful location a few minutes out of town. The room was cozy and the hot tub was just what we needed. Very friendly hosts and the home cooked breakfast was the best. Everything was perfect 👌.
