Paid $11.23 for an avocado toast that had a few pieces of avocado on it with the smallest swipe of veggie cream cheese. I've been coming here for years and have never had such a poorly made avocado toast, they said when I asked about how little was on the toast that their boss has them make it this way. I will never order it again. Rip off! Go to the root house. Better coffee. Better food. Better service! I won't be back. TO ANYONE READING THIS!! You can go have a sit down breakfast anywhere in town and spend less money than you will at this establishment.

Definitely worth the stop!

My fiancée got a sausage burrito and he loved it (including the salsa - super fresh) and I got the egg, spinach, mushroom quiche, iced green citrus tea, a hot peach tea, banana bread, and two muffins.

We were super impressed with the quality of food. Everything seemed baked and prepped fresh. Staff was friendly and teas are refreshing. Best quiche I’ve had in a long time!

Also bathrooms were clean!

Great coffee. Great food. But be ready for a little wait in prime-morning time. Took us 30 minutes to get our food. But it was really good. Nice atmosphere inside. Free water. Cool music. On the way to the slopes. I got an everything bagel and it was way better than expected. And the iced coffee was amazing. Wish I got an XL.

Must stop if you're looking for coffee! This is a great coffee shop with a great backdrop. Stopped by after seeing the reviews during our road trip and was not disappointed! Ordered a chai and their special at the time "The Joker." Was not disappointed. Both drinks came out very quick and filled to the brim. The atmosphere is clean and offers plenty of seating.

We’ve been coming to Higher Grounds frequently for 4 years and it is always our go to breakfast spot on the way out of town. Over the last year, the quality of the food for what you’re paying has decreased while prices continue to increase. It now costs $2 extra for sausage that used to be included in the already $11 breakfast sandwich. Couple that with $6 for a small latte and you can easily spend $40+ for 2 people for a quick breakfast. As much as I would love to continue to support them because I do love the taste of their coffee, the price is becoming unjustifiable.

Unfortunately, this may just not be the spot for me! Given the reviews for Higher Grounds, I was excited to stop here for a mid-run pick me up. This is a popular business, frequented by both locals and tourists staying nearby so naturally be prepared to wait just a little bit. Beyond this, service was spot on and the pastries looked extra yummy, but the coffee and matcha disappointed greatly on the two separate occasions that I stopped by.

To the left is a Sweetgrass Matcha and to the right is the Sunflower Latte (?), and both were about $8 for a large (20oz.). Between the two, I found myself regretful for spending the $ but alas, was happy to support the business anyways!

Check it out; it is quite possible that I just ordered the wrong things. When I’m spending $7+ for a drink, however, the expectation really is that it’s a flavorful and enjoyable drink regardless!

I ordered a chai tea and it was very yummy. Kids each got smoothies. Strawberry and peach and loved those. We came back the next day and got them again. The girls working always had a smile on their face and super friendly. Highly recommend. Snickerdoodle cookie is pretty amazing too.

They have the most fresh delicious pastries! I had fresh croissants, one was turkey pepper jack, and swiss jam. They were pretty Amazing...coffee was pretty good and there were plenty of spaces to set up your laptop.
