I did not go to the grill but I am currently staying in the lodge portion and it was surprisingly fantastic!!! I have a little suite with a kitchenette, murphy bed and a nice bathroom that is perfect for a one night stay on long term. I would highly reccomend this place and I will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Great food, great service. Very affordable and you'll never leave hungry. The Reuben is amazing, and if you can get the prime rib when it's on special, it's awesome too. Great happy hour, nice bartenders. If Hayden is only going to have one restaurant, at least it's a good one!

Just to let you know up front, you check in at the bar in the bar and grill located on the first floor. This is a nice, reasonably priced place to stay conveniently located near Steamboat Springs which is about 30 minutes away and all of the hiking, hunting and fishing conveniently located throughout the region. I stayed in the 2 room suite which comes with a small, but well equipped kitchen that includes pots and pans to cook with as well as silverware and dishes. The place is aesthetically pleasing, neat and clean, and offers plenty of room. The staff in the bar who help you are polite and professional. The room was located above a bar and grill which shuts down at 9 pm most nights and at midnight on weekends. I was worried that the place would be seedy and loud since the place is located above a bar. That was not the case while I was there. I heard little, if any, noise from the bar while in the room at night. The crowd in the bar appeared to be made up of small town working people who were generally quiet which was a refreshing change from the pretentious crowds in Steamboat Springs. Wild Goose Coffee at the Granary is located within walking distance of the hotel and I recommend that you go there for your coffee Monday through Saturday when it is open as opposed to the local gas stations. I did not eat or drink in the bar and grill, so I cannot comment on the quality of the food or drink there.

What a find! Rolled in to town hungry and took a chance. Wow. What a surprisingly great meal. We had the special of the day, pulled pork sandwich. Fresh, home made sauce to go with it. Bun was perfect. Also had the wings. All home made sauces. Excellent craft beer served from a next door brewery. If you want a great meal before or after Steamboat, this is your spot!

Friendly and patient servers and great food. They always have some drinks or food on special and they never seem to disappoint me. Great selection of spirits and beers including some from local breweries such as Yampa Valley Brewing Company and Storm Peak in Steamboat.

Fun little spot in Hayden. Always friendly service and extremely good food. Shelly and Dave are both AWESOME! I came in on a Sunday to watch the Steelers game but wasn't on the local TV so John got on his laptop and put it on there for me so I could watch it. Best service ever. I love this place!!!

No one helped us when we came in and got a drink after 20 minutes. Bartender was on her cell phone, 2nd waitress was sitting chatting with a customer. We drive through Hayden once a week and thought we would try it. Same as the review before this one we drove to Craig and had lunch. I would not recommend this place to eat ever!! we were there 1 hour and was charged $9 dollars for a $4 glass of wine and an ice tea.

Had a great time here! Josie was everything and everyone at the bar made us feel so welcome. The gentleman whose room we accidentally walked into was not super happy but we thought it was hilarious... would definitely stay here again
