Visitaba este lugar por primera vez, ya que he desayunado en el de Saratoga, pero nos llevamos horrible decepcion,fueron bastante irrespetuosos ,nos sentimos descriminados,esperamos bastante tiempo para q nos tomaran la orden,y luego nos llevaron la comida y era un completo desorden el plato, no regresaria nunca a este lugar,y tampoco lo recomendaria a nadie.

This is a decent restaurant serving mostly American/California Cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had the Asian Chicken Salad and Chicken Cobb Salad for lunch. Modern spartan interior. Very clean and bright. When we arrived at 11:30am it was mostly empty but by the time we left at 12:30pm it was packed. There are lots of hard surfaces but tables are spaced reasonably far apart so noise level was moderate when it was full. Has a bike rack on the sidewalk near it's front door. They take Apple Pay.

Holder's Country Inn

Holder's has become my diner favorite. I have repeated many times for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. All my meals have been satisfying and filling. I recommend trying the comfort food daily specials like the Steak and Peppers. The Rib Eye Steak dinner was excellent and a good value. The Liver and Onions is a great, not easy to find anywhere else dish. The soups are thick and hearty, almost a meal itself.

Clean and modern spacious interior. Service is always excellent.

First time visiting this place and I was so impressed! I tried the California omelette souffle which came with fresh avocado, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It also came with two giant buttermilk pancakes and hash browns. Easily the best tasting and fluffiest eggs I've had in quite some time. For $15 you get enough food to feed 3 people. The portions here are extremely generous to say the least!

To top it off, their house coffee is actually good which surprised me. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, Holder's is a wonderful addition to downtown Los Altos. Highly recommend.

Bright and roomy local spot. We came in for breakfast on a weekday and we're prompted seated and offered water and coffee. We ordered the ribeye steak and eggs, and the Joe's Special. Both portions were very generous, flavorful, and cooked exactly as we ordered. Service was also prompt and thoughtful - our coffee mugs were not left empty. Thank you for the great visit! We'd come back in a heartbeat.

I had the steak and eggs for brunch, the quality of the steak is horrible. I ordered a med rare and it was still very hard, not tender at all. I would expect a chain restaurant to have better quality control on their meat. I mentioned this to the waitress and she just smiled. I definitely would not go back.

I have never been to the original locations (Cupertino, San Jose) of this restaurant chain and therefore had no expectations for this “diner” restaurant. The menu states breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day. I ordered the mushroom, spinach, avocado soufflé omelette for which I opted to replace the toast with a pancake. (I emphasized single when I ordered and now wonder what I would have gotten if I didn’t make this request). My fellow friend opted for a waffle and was treated to a nice caramel-brown Belgian waffle. The omelette had a rich buttery taste and fluffy texture. A cross-section view of the omelette uncovered layers of eggy-goodness, meaty mushrooms and fresh spinach. The accompanying hash browns were very (too) crispy. Pancake was delicious. I ended up eating 50-70% of what was offered. So next time I think I will share my breakfast “family” style.
