La comida está bien, parece q las bebidas son muy ricas, pero no había comido nada y tomé un café q nos lo dieron en una taza muy grande y menos de la mitad de café, el servicio no es tan bueno, el lugar está lindo.

Everything was really tasty! The mochiko chicken was so moist and crispy. The pancakes really tasted like ube. The place is small so reservations are recommended. They have a lot of rules posted but they are mostly common sense, like don't vandalize the bathroom and if new customers are waiting then dining time is 90 minutes.

Came here with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Been here many times before and I absolutely love everything about it. Servers are always nice, the manager(s) are so attentive and just the overall experience is 10/10. Recommend this place and of course, all of the food I’ve had here was never mid. Always soooo fire.

Amazing service and food. There was so much food though. I really enjoyed their ubelicious mocktail. Loved how they had a non alcoholic mixed drink section....even though they're only 2 drinks listed, they both sound amazing.
The spicy spam rice bites were very good as well!
Ube pancake was tasty!
I definitely would love to come again to try something else!

We've been going to this shopping center for years and finally decided to stop in and try Hula Hoops! Not disappointed! Really good flavorful food, interesting options and flavors.

We particularly liked the taco trio, spam masubi, and ubemisu (ube tiramisu).

Flavor wise we wish the loco moco had a slightly stronger gravy, it felt a bit weak, but everything else was yummers!

This was great for a large group! We had a group of 9 and were accommodated super easily.

Good:
- Super friendly staff, were efficient at bringing out food too
- Prices were great for the value and portions
- The place is has a fun theme - it's tiki bar themed and the staff dress like them
- The loco moco was so tasty - good amount of rice and meat - and I liked
the gravy it came with.
- The Combo sisig bowl was also good, I liked that it came with 2 different meats - the sisig was my favorite.
- The ube pancake was better than the lilikoi pancake since it had more sweetness
- Cornbread was like mochi + cornbread!

Bad:
- The ube latte wasn't very good, was a bit bland honestly
- The mac salad portions were pretty small

If you're looking for a place that's perfect for a large group and has little wait time, look no further!

Plenty of high top tables and seats inside and the setup is pretty dimly lit and cozy. Tons of fun pirate themed decor and the tiki drink menu is pretty extensive. They are 10/10 for looks and a 6 on taste. Service was a bit slow despite the thin crowd on a Tuesday night. The small bites were Filipino inspired and was a good complement to the cocktails - musubi, skewers, lumpia, etc. Got the pineapple and a coco loco drinks that were a bit too watery. The glasses they came in were very fun tho.

If you want to enjoy the bliss of tropical Hawaiian islands in the heart of San Francisco, Hula Hoops is the perfect spot for you!
Gorgeous ambience, fantastic service, and delectable food, Hula Hoops is one of my personal favorite restaurants!
Personal recommendations:
1. Starters - Impossible Sisig Tots, Vege Musubi
2. Entree - Impossible Loco Moco (My friends have also absolutely loved the Loco Moco Chicken Option)
3. Deseert - Pandan Sylvannas
4. Coffee - Ube Latte with Oat Milk (Must Try!)

Great options for vegetarians, vegans as well as meat lovers!

Some points to keep in mind
1. As the place is busy be ready for a wait time of 5 to 20 minitues depending on the rush.
2. The restaurant is in a neighborhood with many stores and other eateries. There is ample parking in the parking lot, but on busy days it can get difficult to find parking easily.

Highly recommend to try out this gem!
