Excelente parada después de subir un 13ers, lo recomiendo! Pedimos unas costillas completas para 2 personas y side de papas fritas! Muy bueno y la atención excelente! El lugar es muy lindo y los precios entre 10-20$ accesible!

The service was good! It had a very cozy feel on the inside. We shared the BBQ Sampler. It was enough food for two adults. The ribs and pulled pork were very good! The mac and cheese had a really good flavor, but it was really dry. We added bbq sauce to the mac and cheese, and it really helped!

The BBQ meats were delicious, the sides ...no. Just my taste but the side dishes didn't get eaten after a taste, that's why only 4 stars. But honestly as I write this I'm still happily full from the 2 meat plate I ordered. I'm okay with the fact I couldn't eat down the whole plate I would have been over stuffed.
Our server was a very nice person and was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the bathrooms were nicely kept.
If you are in Blackhawk, it's a good place to eat (as long as you aren't too picky about your side dishes.

Heard about this place from a family member that was driving through. Made the trip out. The decor was great. Loved the look of the place. Staff were friendly and helpful. Too bad they were out of beef ribs. Will need to call ahead next time. Meat was good. Started with a great salad. Tasted much better than I was prepared for. The BBQ sauce is a must since the meat didn’t appear that flavourful without it. Great sauce though. We ended up mixing the hot and sweet sauces together and that seemed like a good mix. Tried some dessert while we were three. Was real good. Check out the pictures and videos. Would recommend this place and we are hoping to come back again sometime and get the beef ribs. Hope all goes well for you.

First time giving any place this low of a rating. Things looked hopeful with large smoker in the parking lot and it is a big open restaurant with nice decor but from there things went downhill quickly. Usually there is a reason for slow service like tons of people etc. there were only a few of us there and our server was very slow and never around. The other server could be seen and was helpful to her tables. We had to ask her to find our server for our check. She took the other tables order and disappeared again took at least 5 more minutes before she came to take our order BBQ is usually quick to deliver the food but not here. Took at least 10 minutes for our food and it was BLAND the only thing on my platter that had flavor were the green beans. The coleslaw was beyond flavorless. Added salt and it helped a bit. The pork was okay. The chicken was sooooo dry and again no flavor. Oh and my husband’s baked beans were barely cooked. The sauce helped a bit. We love bbq and so disappointed.

Friends, I am from the south and am forever in search of good BBQ here in Colorado. If you are in Blackhawk, you should check this place out! Let me start with the service, Jennifer provided the best service, from opening the door for me and providing excellent service throughout my dining experience, way to go Jennifer! I had the beef green chili soup, fall off the bone beef rib (this thing was so big it was like eating a dinosaur rib! 1.5 lbs!) and the peanut butter frosted chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was so good and I can’t wait to come back and try one of their other great menu selections! The atmosphere is that of an old time western saloon straight out of an old mining town. A lot of history in this building! Come check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

Love this BBQ - ribs are amazing and definitely try the pig wings!!! I first went to JKQ BBQ couple years ago - they moved shortly after and was soooo happy to find them again!!!
