Nice hangout spot. Kid friendly and karaoke on Friday and Saturday. Food is ok and drinks are good. If you are looking for a nice spot to relax and catch a few laughs in Slidell this is the place to be.

Great food, great atmosphere.. the locals are great. The bartenders are great, but there is sometimes one that ruins the whole experience. Don't want to bash the whole place, but there is a bartender there that's pretty rude and ruined our night. Rolled her eyes and made faces at us after being ignored for 30 minutes. Give it a chance, though. Maybe we went on a bad night.

i ABSOLUTELY LOVE KAPPY'S! THE OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE GREAT. I LOVE KAROKE AND THE PEOPLE WHO COME ARE SUCH A VIBE. I HAVE CELEBRATED MY BIRTHDAY THERE THREE YEARS IN A ROW AND EVEN GOT ENGAGED THERE. IHIS A GREAT SPOT TO HAVE A GREAT TIME AND UNWIND WITH LAUGHTER FOOD AND DRINKS WITH FAMILY FRIENDS OR JUST BY YOURSELF.

We were staying at the hotel nearby and walked over. There was walk up service or counter service at the bar (so no table wait staff) but the staff was fast and friendly. I ate the gumbo and it was 10/10!! Also tasted a couple of the daiquiris and they were all delicious (and strong) 😉

What a Great Place to have a Great Meal and drinks, We have been here a little over a week for work and decided to go to Kappys, we were totally surprised by the service, food and drinks. They have the BEST Daiquiri bar I have ever seen, the food was AWESOME, we had the pork rinds, the Duck and Anduie Gumbo is the best I have had, And don't get me started on the Crawfish boil in a bowl!! Pictured here is the BEST RIBS in Louisiana, everything here is great and we tried most of the menu!!! When you are in the Slidell area we highly recommend you visit Kappys, If I could give more stars,Darryl and Michelle are amazing owners/ host Love Y'all and Thank You for a Great Time, also they have awesome beans!!!!

We stayed at the hotel next door and got in late and wanted something easy and ideally somewhat authentic/different. The food was phenomenal. We got the fried green beans, chicken cracklins, sea dog, and fish and chips. It was all amazing, but the chicken cracklins and their sauce totally stole the show. I had never been to Louisiana but if I come back through I plan to prioritize coming back here and getting it! I wasn’t crazy impressed with the daiquiri but it was all still great and quick and well priced.
