I LOVE this place! The food is fresh, great quality and delicious. The restaurant is clean, bright, and inviting. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the service is top notch. The sandwiches are my absolute favorite, build your own! The iced tea is the best. And the desserts...homemade pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls and peach ice cream! The cafe was very friendly and clean. Debbie the owner was very nice. We had the tandem breakfast and it was good. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend getting a pizza. We tried a slice of the johnny popper pizza and it was delicious. The flavors just mixed great with each other. So we ended up getting a sausage pizza to go. So if you're driving through Kit Carson stop by and get a pizza pie to dine in or go. I believe in supporting small towns.

Kit Carson Cafe is fantastic! We were on our way back to Austin and decided to stay for lunch. Everything we ordered was freshly made! Clean bathrooms, excellent service, great food! We will definitely come back next time. 这个餐厅非常好吃。厕所非常干净。服务态度非常好。去丹佛路上可以停下来吃饭！

This place has some great reviews from several people. We relied on those reviews to make our decision to stop here for lunch today. I can tell you now that the other reviews are not from real customers.
The place did not look open and there was no sign with the businesses name on it anywhere. It is actually part of a motel, and looks worrisome from the outside. We had to try the door to see if it was open.
Once inside, it looked a lot better. It was clean and the staff was happy to take our order at the counter.
We ordered two sandwiches ($15 each) and then waited around 15-20 minutes.
When the sandwiches came, we were disappointed that they were both very small. Kind of like a sandwich you’d make at home from a loaf of sliced bread. Also my wife’s panini was not even toasted and both sandwiches had exactly one slice of each type of meat and cheese that was included.
It’s easy to write yourself a glowing review, but hard to get anyone to walk in the door more than once. Drive down the road and find something better.

It’s a nice restaurant. I stopped with my family during breakfast. They took our order quickly. It was pretty clean and organized. The outside of the building isn’t anything special, but the inside has plenty of seating and outside has plenty of parking. The food was also presented nicely and cook time was appropriate for the amount of customers and the size of our order. The food was very tasty and very fresh. This is probably one of the healthiest restaurants we have found in a long time.
Here are some things that are good improvement points: bathroom stall locking mechanism was broken and difficult to use. No website was listed on the google listing. Seems they have a website; it just needs to be listed. We had to wait until we arrived to see what was on the menu. We called for more information, but no one answered. Overall, it was a great stop. Very glad they were open. They are the only restaurant for an hour or more until you get closer to Colorado Springs.

Absolutely loved this new cafe in Kit Carson! The food is top-notch; tasted fantastic and with high-quality ingredients. Their menu has a great variety of options, catering to all tastes. The bottomless coffee is a huge perk, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier—they made us feel right at home (even being from out of town). Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you’re in the area!

Hidden away in plain sight in the small town of Kit Carson,Co. is the Kit Carson Cafe. Now, at first glance you would not think much of this place, being hidden away and all. But son, they are seriously serving up some of the best pizza pies in the business...no cap.
The 3 meat (pepperoni, sausage, and hamburger) I ordered came straight out the brick-oven to the table...mmmmmmmm! And do not sleep on that apple juice they serve to wash it all down.
So, if you're ever in Kit Carson Co. this place is highly recommended.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on the way through town. The sweetest lady, Debbie, greeted us and showed us the small but delicious smelling Mexican buffet they had for the evening (also New Years Eve). Debbie reminded me of when you go home to Grandma’s house and Grandma just wants to feed ya and make you happy! Food was yummy and the sopapilla cheesecake she brought us was delicious as well. We will definitely be back on our next trip thru Kit Carson.
