Klix is my favorite liquor store to come to. The staff are always so upbeat and friendly. They great you when you walk in & always offer help and go out of their way to help you. The owners of the store are super knowledgeable on liquor and help educate their employees. They are a small business who support a big military town and thrive to serve veterans. The reward program is super nice to us customers who come in all the time so the allocated liquor isn’t always sold out. They do always ID like every liquor store should & I know they do not sell if you do not have your ID. I wouldn’t ever bring my underage child into a liquor store but they do ID check everyone in the group. I watched a man bring his teenage daughter in while she was touching and looking at stuff and then get upset for denying service. It really is such a great establishment despite the grumpy reviews they are getting recently.

An Asian woman, her behavior suggested a need for more thorough training in professionalism and customer interactions. It’s concerning that someone in a customer service role lacks the foundational skills necessary to effectively serve customers.

The level of service we have received from this establishment has been highly disappointing and falls short of the standards expected by the community it serves. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business and will not be returning in the future. While they claim to prioritize serving veterans, their actions have demonstrated otherwise. If I could rate this establishment zero stars, I would. The manager, an Asian woman, I believe her name is Liz, demonstrated a clear need for development in customer service skills. Based on my experience, she is not suited for a customer-facing role and would benefit from further training to improve her interactions with clients.

One worker, male with a beard. He knows a lot about what he sells. He took his time explaining wines to me and what might fit my taste. (I was 100 percent being a hard customer too, because I worry about calories), and he showed me a few things and explained to me how they were processed where they were made. Not only did I find the best wine I have ever tried. But I also left knowing interesting facts about wine that I never knew. Extremely helpful and enjoyable. In the past, I have never had an issue with staff. A female worker with dyed hair has always been polite.

We have a liquor store right by my house and I drive the few extra miles for the variety, and for of course, John. Never have I ever encountered such a helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly employee. He truly makes coming to this place more than worth it.

My husband and I have shopped here for the last 5 years. There is one particular lager we drink that is lemon flavored. The same brand also has pomegranate and unflavored. They never have the lemon and I ask for it every time I stop in. I did the same today and the man at the checkout (didn't get a name but looks like a tall Jack Black) literally laughed at me and said no, they wouldn't stock the lemon year round but maybe again in the summer. I don't spend my hard earned money to be laughed at. I will take my money to another store. Kindness is the only form of customer service needed today.

Writing this based on my experience today only in the last 1+ year of being a loyal customer at this location. I’m so beyond disappointed with my treatment of one of the employees after I accidentally dropped a bottle of Tito’s vodka. The floor was wet as it was raining outside and I slipped for half a second and lost grip of the bottle and immediately the employee comes over and sighs and tells me I have to pay full price for the bottle. I want to mention there is no signs up saying you break it you buy it, and not just that, but there was literally someone mopping the rain off the ground as all this happened so some kind of compassion or reduction of price would’ve gone such a long way. But truly the reason why I’m writing this is because I didn’t argue with the employee, I didn’t go back and forth with him, but I hear him mumble something under his breath when I turned away. Can’t say 10000% for sure, but it sounded like he called me crazy. I understand that the incident is so inconvenient and a loss for the store, but if I’m going to be charged anyway, I didn’t need the extra poor attitude. The checkout employees were also confused at checkout to double charge me but I let them know what the other guy had said. This was my only location I went too, part of their rewards and genuinely will not be coming back.

Some cashiers are great, and some not so great. It's really unfortunate for the good ones. My husband went to the store on his own, and a female cashier rang him up, didn’t ID him, and flirted with him without a problem. He came home, and he accidentally got me the wrong thing. My car is broken, so I asked him to drive me back. We both walked in, I grabbed what I wanted, and I went to pay with the same cashier. My husband left his wallet at home, and she refused to sell to me because he didn’t have his ID. It seems like they only enforce their “policy” when it’s convenient for them. Do better.
