As a Wedding Photographer, this is by far one of my favorite local venues to shoot at! I'm posting this wedding because it was a winter wedding, and as you can see there are still tons of greens, and beautiful locations to shoot at. SO many spots for the couples, to have a different look, and yet it's small enough to feel intimate. I can't say enough good things about this venue and recommend it all the time (selfishly too ha). Love working with the staff, they are hard workers and super efficient, it makes things run so smoothly. Highly recommend.

I work in the wedding industry and can tell you everything at La Arboleda is spot on! I cannot say enough about this venue! Chelsea and Joanna are fantastic to work with and very hospitable. As I’m sure you can tell from the photos it is absolutely beautiful featuring a plethora of Walnut and Olive Trees; and full of various backdrops for photos. Their location has that perfect rustic romantic escape feel to it for my couples and their guests.

Their Wheel House Suite and Bunk House Suite is also to die for! It is so gorgeous and light filled, which is perfect for getting ready photos.
I would recommend La Arboleda to everyone!

I had a beautiful wedding at la arboleda in October. Thanks to my wonderful fiancé, bridal party, photographer, and planner it was everything I dreamed of.

If there is anything to say against the beautiful venue itself (because I prefer to consider its beauty separately, as 5 stars), it is the management / venue coordinator Chelsea. While her mother Sally was lovely on our first tour of the space, Chelsea haunted the full year of planning with generally unhelpful and vague responses. My mother has chosen to deal with that year of communication directly, so I will stick to my own experiences during the wedding weekend.

We were very excited to use both Zaca and Arboleda for our weekend, and were given a very nice discount to do so. Part of the reason for using both venues was the many lovely spaces, including the wine cellar that could host a rehearsal dinner. When it came time to plan this dinner, it fit events best to do a lunch. 40 emails and several phone calls later, we learn within three weeks of the wedding that what my mother-in-law understood to be the options for our lunch were inaccurate. Chelsea's emailed response was, "I’m not sure where the confusion lies as I was very clear." Well, I guess that's where the issue is in this case; Chelsea seems to think she's helpful. We adjusted, discovering while doing so that the website that she insisted we use had inaccurate dimensions the whole time, and were able to have a fine lunch at Arboleda. Unfortunately, in another 22 emails with Chelsea re-planning this lunch, she did not mention we'd need a drill to move the tables when we were done, as discussed. The groom's father had one, so we persisted.

When we misunderstood the terms of pool use at Zaca -- we were told we had the run of the place for the weekend, and the pool lights were on -- Chelsea chewed out the entire wedding party, saying "This is standard noise ordinance. That's why the lights are all off." The lights weren't all off, and perhaps there are additional ordinances on pool lighting, but she was extremely rude to ten bridal party guests staying in the rooms for the wedding. She further chastised everyone about the liquor license, inaccurarely (bartender and leasing agent best man to be referenced later), ultimately ruining the night of the wedding because of her attitude and flinging accusations, when a simple "Hey guys, you didn't read this I guess but pool closes at X time, could you pack it up?" would have done the trick. She came at us guns blazing assuming we were breaking rules and being rowdy with no regard, when we simply had been in the pool the night before and not experienced a problem that time. We figure for 30k maybe a softer tone would be used, idk!

On wedding day, our best man changed in and out of his tux several times to deal with the beer taps--another wonderful feature of the venue. The taps themselves were clogged with residue from past uses not properly purged afterwards. As he struggled with these, he called Chelsea. She seemed to think he didn't know what he was doing (he's been a bartender for ten years) and would not provide any help. Eventually he got it to barely work, so our guests could enjoy some foamy beer despite the residue.

I share these instances not to discourage future couples from the space, but to encourage a change in customer service. Each incident on its own could sound very small and silly to complain about, but the combined year of communication made the entire planning process much more stressful than it needed to be. There are many beautiful weddings and events to be had here, and hopefully they can be done with less friction than my own.

This is the most beautiful wedding venue on the central coast!! The owners are so accommodating and beyond wonderful to work with. Everywhere you turn there is gorgeous trees, flowers and lighting. It is its own little oasis with waterfalls and a lazy river with a water wheel. The best of the best!!!!! Have your wedding or event here and you will be sure to have memories for a lifetime.

We had my little sisters wedding here in December. Very cool venue and they let you have it from Friday til Sunday so we were able to set up/ break down at an easier pace and stay over night in the bridal and groomsmen dressing room bunk houses. Not a lot of parking on site though.

I got married at La Arboleda this past September and I can’t say enough about how great this venue is! We loved it from the moment we toured last spring. It’s only 2 hours from LA, so it was the perfect distance for us to get out of town for the weekend and not feel like we’d driven all day and night to get somewhere we could breathe. Most importantly, it’s in central coast wine country and if you’re into Pinot Noir like I am, you’ll love being walking distance from incredible wineries. We came here wine tasting and one of my favorite wineries directed us to this venue for our wedding and it is seriously a hidden gem! The grounds are beautiful. The owners are really helpful and awesome to work with. They even helped me get great local deals from wineries and breweries they had connections with for our wedding. The whole weekend went by so fast. I’m so happy we chose this as our venue. We can’t wait to come back for an anniversary!

Wow! What a spectacular place! Every detail has been thought of in this hidden gem located conveniently between Los Angeles and San Francisco in Santa Barbara Wine Country. The rustic charm of the buildings coupled with the elegant decor made for a magical wedding venue for me and my husband. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind place to get married!
