Course was in great condition and staff was very friendly. We played a late afternoon and were a very slow group as most guys hadn’t played before and the staff didn’t pressure us at all even as the last group off. Will definitely play again if in the area

We stopped at Discovery Lodge hoping for a room. Bam! Booked the last room and headed to our playground. We were just excited to have a disc golf course in the backyard. The mountain views are breathtaking. But the most magical surprise was the wildlife ON THE COURSE with us!!

One of the best golf courses in the US. Breathtaking mountain views, with a lot of interference with wildlife on the course. Good tee time, but SUPER CROWDED!!!!! Highly recommend to others to try.

I suspected that it would be a short par 3 course, but I'd say half the holes were a long par 4, so was able to use all clubs and had a great time. Wally and Bill were nice and friendly.

If you were unaware, this course also shares it's property with an 18 hole disc golf course. The disc golf course is also a paid round with tee times that can be set up through the ball golf clubhouse. The layout is a little hard to follow on some holes when playing the course blind, but it is a fun course with a nice variety of shot shapes. The staff were friendly and accommodating with carts and score cards and even assured us they would let the ball golfers know that disc golfers were also on the course today. The disc golf baskets/tees are generally off to the side of fairways but still play along/across the ball golf holes. We were acutely aware of this and tried our best to be courteous of the other golfers on the course. The ball golfers did not extend the same courtesy for us. We were hit in on by multiple different groups while playing out holes. All while in clear view from the golf tee area. While the course and staff are amazing, the other patrons (probably Estes Park tourists and not residents) left a lot to be desired. They seemed to wait for other ball golfers though, so maybe they were just mad they had to share.
