Decided to drop in on a Friday morning and visited their kids' corner. It was awesome. Super clean, the gals at the front were friendly and welcoming. my 6yo and 4yo had so much stuff to play with it kept them busy for a while too! Thank you lamar public library for letting us sit and stay for a while 😊

It is my Hometown Library, that's great! It's where I go when I need someone who knows a little bit more than I do. Don't be afraid to visit! Don't have photos of it, because, who photographs a library? Really?

Great library...loved the cleanliness, amazingly friendly staff and well placed sections. Awesome kids corner! They definitely made sure each individual of every age would find something suitable.

Great environment and awesome staff always willing to help. Highly recommended for anyone of any age. Easily accessible, handicap parking, and an enormous assortmemt of books. Also free computer usage with internet access. Healthy and clean environment. Metal detectors at entrance, no weapons allowed. 25 cents per page to print from computer. Men and womens restroom for public usage.

This library has several handicap parking located to the rear of the building near the entrance. There's a wheelchair ramp leading up to the door, and motion sensor doors for easy entry.
The restrooms are also equipped for the handicapped as well.

Really nice library! New and looks to have whatever you're looking for. I wish my library was this nice. I forgot my computer at home and had to do some work so I got a guest pass to the use the internet while I was out here in Lamar. Will be back!
