After a few years of saying, "We really need to try Lone Tree Brewing," we finally had a free afternoon and made it happen.

We had a good experience. We ordered 2 brews. One was the Pumpkin Ale, which had just the right balance of spices—not too overpowering. The other was the Nitro Cream Ale which was smooth, creamy, and oh-so-even better than expected!

One of the best things about Colorado is the endless stream of high-quality craft breweries. I love that places like this are locally owned and run. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in for at least one drink.

There are plenty of reviews with photos so I won’t bore with details. There is plenty of room inside and out to sit and the food trucks seem like a good option for food.

This place has great beer and good views from the patio. Although they don't serve food they happen to have food trucks with good food. They have also expanded their capacity since last summer. This is one of my favorite stops on the weekend to have lunch, a beer and chill in the afternoon. Today was hot so I had their Mexican Lager. It is very hard to lager and this is one of the few microbreweries I know that has an in-house lager.

It was just okay here. Maybe we came on an off night but the place was hot inside and the beer was just okay. There’s indoor and outdoor seating which is nice and pets are allowed which is nice. There was a food truck outside. 🍺

Why would I come back: We have been a huge fan of Lone Tree since they opened! Great beers with a ton of variety. Big bar, tons of tables and a good patio. Love the creativity , I often find something here that I am not sure about, and end up loving.
Favorite thing is the pay it forward list, where we can buy a beer for veteran, nurses, teachers, first responders, and a bunch of others who may need a pint.
Multiple award winners, including several medals from GABF. Lone Tree is always a place where we make an excuse to visit.

Our beer tender is the reason for this review. We got to the brewery a little after 12, intending to eat at the food truck. Due to other circumstances, they were running very late. Our beer tender was all by herself, and she was making sure to communicate with everyone waiting the updates she was receiving. She continued to get busier but kept calm and kind. We made a mess of our table, as did some other patrons, spilling waters and such. She was still very kind when assisting with cleanup. The food truck was not a win, likely because of their own issues, so it kind of brought down the experience, but the beer tender, still alone as the very large seating area continued to fill up, and her oder line stayed solid, made our visit exceptional. The beer was also very good. Had The Rock, The Bobby Blackberry Porter, The Stormtrooper, and the Orange Chocolate Stout. All very good. But we've avoided returning to breweries because of poor staff and returned to mediocre breweries because of wonderful staff. I wish I had gotten her name, but we will 100% return because of how wonderful she was. Cheers to the solid beer tender who worked the AM Sunday 2/26.

As an aside, they had a super cool craft vending machine. I hope to see more of those around.Other fun little touches inside that intrigued us, like the "Pints for the People" tracker. Pictures just to highlight the interior

We stopped by shortly after they opened on a weekday...they are probably busier for the after-work crowd & weekends. Only one guy working the bar - but he was really friendly. They offer lots of indoor and outdoor seating in their wide open space and offer some really fun flavors! I especially liked the vanilla caramel amber out of my flight - but the others were tasty too. Not sure of the hours that a food truck is on sight - likely during their peak hours...so was glad we brought some cheese & crackers. They were fine with. Will go again

Great beer…but some of the most jerky bartenders I’ve ever seen in CO. It’s almost like they scream to stay away…it’s crazy. As a former bartender for 5 years, you’re getting it from the source. The more full photo is a 16 oz pour…which of course they could never hit the mark because they wanted to get back to talking to the other jerky bartender as soon as possible. The other is a 12 oz pour with 4 oz on the side before we combined to make the 16 oz in other photo. We bought a glass just for the nerdy 5th grade science experiment of it all. But really, they should charge a $1.00 less because you’re really getting like 14 oz pours the way they were pouring…we just wanted to show what a 16 oz pour was and we never got close to that. Whatever, we won’t be back. Worst customer service I’ve seen at a brewery in CO by a longshot. Both male AND female bartenders were crazy rude. 3 stars for the beer. The recession is coming and kids don’t want to pay your prices for average atmosphere. Your bartenders are literally killing you though. We saw it in other customer faces too. Unless you’re an idiot owner, you know who they are. The girl was a middle aged brunette and the guy just loves the Twins. Funny, never met anyone with a good personality from Minnesota yet. Good luck.

2024 update: So we came back to give them another chance and unfortunately, they didn’t have the beers we liked in the summer. Ok, no problem. But again with the service…holy fright…we sat outside where the server came and checked us out after we had to go in after waiting 10 minutes to get the beers. There was literally maybe 8-10 customers in the place. Again, no problem I guess. I inserted the card, left a generous tip…she then takes the card reader, looks away with a face…says nothing…then walks away. We looked at each other simply dumbfounded because we told her thanks with smiles on our faces during her whole deal. It’s the older brunette if that helps. I’m sure it wouldn’t take long for management to figure out who their issues are with customers. The service here forces us to never come back. We’re real customers…that are friendly…and tip well.

The beer is Fresh and Tasty. Love the Hefeweizen beer. The Mother's Day food truck Special - Chick3n and Waffl3s was too crispy and over deep fried. The dogs Love to hang out with their beer loving buddies.
