Went in to have an event at this location and it was all good in the beginning. The venue is nice but the owner has selective hearing. She has her daughter and kids speak to customers and acts like she doesn't understand what's going on. We signed a contract and originally said 150 people for a baby shower and she gave me a price of $600, I met with her to do some measurements 2 weeks before the event and our count was at 75, then I met with her one more time prior and told her we were at 90 people. She left exactly 90 chairs out. So no problem, I called her and asked if I could get 27 more chairs for set up sake and just in case and she charged me another $100 for 27 chairs. Still said no problem. In the contract it never stated we had to clean up but we did anyway, we put all the chairs away, tables away, swept the venue, threw the trash and had it the way she left it. She then tried to say we had to mop and clean the bathrooms and this was not in the contract, I know this because I wrote the dang contract on a piece of paper. No legit contact with specifications. She told us we could get in early and changed the time the morning of to 930. The walls were filthy, the floor was dirty, we had floor length linens and when they touched the floor they were dusty dusty.. The dumper was so full we barely fit our trash in there. Since she told us we wouldn't get deposit back unless we cleaned, we cleaned. I told her I wasn't leaving until I received my deposit because she said i would get it beforeI left and then she started recording me, so as she was recording me telling me her version of the story, I started telling the true version in her recording soooo all of a sudden she handed me my deposit. I had referred 3 people to her already and I will be calling them before they run into the same problems. I should have read the review prior to mine because she had the same problems. This is so sad because the venue is really a nice open space.
