Have been to quite a few events at this venue in downtown Colorado Springs and considering the former condition of this place I can say improvements have been made. The number one being carpeting the entry from street level to the second floor entrance to prevent anyone from cracking their head while falling down the stairway. It's a relaxed venue where the sunken dance floor and hidden banquettes allows you to focus on the entertainment on stage, or you can stay on the main floor and have a quiet conversation in a venue decorated with a modern eye on a blend of French rococo/art neuveau decor. Really lovely venue.

Such a cool vibe, inviting & very social place. The music was incredible & love that you are able to stand in front of the stage ( dance) or you have an option to sit. There are tables and very retro booths around the stage.

Lulu’s downstairs is a hidden gem! I’ve lived in Colorado Springs on and off for over 30 years and I have never stepped foot in Lulu’s until a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely awesome! Great atmosphere that kind of reminds you of times past nice little bar with good offerings And attentive bartenders. Overall I highly recommend this place for live music!

Went here to see a geek concert for Bit Brigade and Super Guitar Bros. Had a very chill atmosphere and plenty of seating for the size of the event (as someone with bad feet, I don't like having to stand for hours). I liked the semi-balcony view of the stage. The audio quality was great as well. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Lulu’s Downtown Grand Opening!! Nice smallish club right downtown in Colorado Springs. I have been to the two other venues: Lulu’s Upstairs and Lulu’s Downstairs. The size downtown is in between I’d say. The acoustics were fine. There is seating, but not like the Lulu’s Downstairs venue…come early or you’ll have to stand. Overall two thumbs up. Oh yes the Medusa wallpaper in the mens room is cool and high end!

Beautiful venues, patio and bars both upstairs and downstairs. Two separate entrances. Won’t disappoint with music and comedy. Big, beautiful venue downstairs (500 capacity), and more intimate venue upstairs. Takes me back in time with the atmosphere, and incredibly curated decor. Ray Charles, Tina Turner and Frank Zappa used to play here in the 70’s.

New venue is open! Really enjoyed Lulu's Downstairs and I'm so glad I got to enjoy that venue for the time they were there. The new Lulu's Downtown smells of varnish, paint, and newness. It's three levels are great, with half a floor between each making it easy to see the stage from each level. Not as intimate as the old, but will hold more people. Highest level has stools and tables in front of the stage. Stage right has a slight ramp with a rail to lean on. The middle level has the sound and light board, smallest area for the audience but a beautiful wooden rail to place drinks on and lean on. Lowest level is the dance floor and even the 6 feet plus patrons couldn't block the view from the upper levels. A very small ledge can be found below the middle level railing for sitting. Very bright white lighting on stairs keeps you aware, but they are blinding. Would be nice to have them toned down. The two performers we saw last night sounded good! Looking forward to more concerts.
