Perfect new addition to BV - incredibly family friendly with plenty of space for kiddos / adults to hang out. Shuffle board, pool, and darts are available to play plus whatever sports game going on can be seen from wherever you are. Go Avs! The marg with tajin (The Bite) was next level!!!!! If you are hungry I highly recommend the freshly cooked Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese - delicious!! Would even be the perfect place to bring a board game and hang. Home away from home! Cannot wait to go back with family and friends.

This place is fantastic! We rented out the Main Street Tavern as an after party spot for our recent wedding and could not be any happier with the atmosphere, bar tending staff and owners of the bar. The staff made sure our guests had a variety of food to choose from and had it ready before we arrived. The quality of the food was incredible as well. The bar tenders were incredibly friendly and attentive and made a variety of cocktails and mock tails for everyone to enjoy. The beer selection has the widest variety in town. Every time I have stopped in I have always enjoyed the fun atmosphere this bar has to offer. They have a pool table and darts and comfortable furniture to lounge in. I recommend anyone to stop in as this establishment is a great addition to buena vista. Also a great space to rent for anyone looking to host a private party. Thank you Main Street Tavern!

The Tavern is a great new spot in town! We enjoyed the atmosphere because it was fun and family friendly. The remodel makes the space feel spacious and comfortable while keeping the historic feel of the building. They had a nice selection of beer on tap and the small brats and pretzels were delicious. Everyone was friendly and helpful when we were there. This will definitely be our new go to spot for a drink, to watch a sports game, or meet with friends.

The tavern is the best bar in town! Great staff, great atmosphere, great drinks, and all around the best time. My husband and I visited 3 times during our trip to BV for our wedding - perfect spot to host an event as well!

I was finally able to check out our newest bar last night and Main St Tavern far exceeded my expectations! I never would have guessed they have only been open for six days. They took their time putting this place together and it shows! The space is open and comfortable, and it’s not near as loud as the other bars in town. The owners are extremely welcoming and actively interested in feedback on how to give the community what they want. This place will definitely fill a niche no one else has been able to!

I had the German Smoked Brat and my friend had the pretzel with beer cheese. Let’s just say I find myself craving both the day after! The beer selection is good but they will be adding and improving as it becomes clear what people want. I love that! Prices are reasonable and there is a great happy hour.

Also, they have some of the most comfy bar stools I’ve ever encountered. Lots of small, thoughtful touches like that.

To be honest, I was relieved the place was not overrun with unattended children. I hope it stays that way. Lately some places feel like a daycare. There were kids and it is family friendly, but more geared towards adults having a relaxing time.

This place will have no trouble making it during the off season, it will quickly be the local favorite!

Sometimes you enter a place and are immediately made to feel like family. Maybe it's no coincidence that family-owned Main St Tavern is one of those places. With the assistance of Julia and Siana, I planned a night out at Main St. Tavern during my friend's bachelor party, which was the perfect end to a weekend of rafting. We were a large group (17) and no other place in BV was willing to host us. Main St. Tavern was not just willing but excited to help make a memorable evening for our group, fueled by an excellent selection of craft beers, tasty food, and a fun atmosphere complete with darts, shuffleboard, and pool. Coming off the river, I expected our group to last a couple of hours before needing to head home to sleep. Anywhere but Main St. Tavern this probably would have been the case, but our group closed down the bar and would have stayed even longer. Thank you to the entire Main St. Tavern crew for an unforgettable night!

Decided to hit up the hot springs and enjoy BV for the day, grabbed some lunch and stumbled upon this new place! Didn’t open till 3 so we decided to come back later. Glad we did!

This place is a great new addition to town! Several TVs to catch games, shuffle board and it looks like it might have a space for live music (Hope so always enjoy a live show!)!?!

We enjoyed a quick round with Chris, great service and felt like we were regulars on our first visit. Over heard him say a few times. “Welcome back” and “great to see you again” shows he’s paying attention and engaged!!

We will be back!

Our first time in and a bit disappointed. My drink arrived with the ice mostly melted from sitting too long before I received it. Also a bit too loud for my taste but on a good note the pretzel was tasty. Being a local it is always fun to have a new place to hang out but not sure I will be coming back in soon.
