This is a beautiful B&B with lovely hosts who were welcoming and interested in us and our travels. Their stunning home is a clear labour of love and it was a privilege to experience it. Despite being in the owner’s home, the room and facilities felt very private, with our own terrace and bathroom.

Super nice place to hang out, the inn keepers were wonderful people and we enjoyed meeting them! If you want a nice out of the way place to hang out in Cedar Edge, this is a good one!

What an amazing discovery near the base of Grand Mesa. Maison De Terre is one of those true gems one rarely finds in travel. The painstaking detail and architectural love put into this tranquil oasis is evident as soon as you enter. Marty and Terrie are amazing hosts and the breakfasts were culinary perfection! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

So happy to have found this place. You can tell their home is a labor of love. It’s so so beautiful. everything felt special. The breakfast was amazing both days; I highly recommend the drinking chocolate! The hosts, Terrie and Marty were so kind and accommodating… even when our dogs chased their sheep out of their pen.
When I grow up, I want to be like Marty and Terrie.

WOW! This review is late (I stayed here in the fall) but I wanted to make sure I let the owners know just how much I enjoyed my stay!!! I came in a little later, but I was warmly welcomed & slept amazingly. Waking up was a DREAM, as I had no idea what a wonderful view I would have or that the breakfast would be one of the best of my life 🤩 Had a great chat the next morning & learned about the unique house & area. Would love to come back!!

I visited Maison De Terre for a relaxing getaway, and it was perfect. Terrie and Marty were wonderful hosts. The room was charming and the breakfast was fantastic - I felt badly that I couldn't finish it all! I also appreciated Marty's recommendation of a short hike to check out on my way home. It was perfect! I hope to be able to visit again.

This is a quiet place nestled in the woods and off grid, star gazing a must. There’s no a/c but really who needs it, nestled in the woods with lots of shade and the breeze flows through this open space home. It’s off grid with all other creature comforts. The claw foot bath tub is large enough for 2 adults to sit in. The Hostess is very nice and cooks a wonderful breakfast that is served outside on your private patio. A mother deer brought her twins within a few yds of us and wanted us to open the gate to the garden, which we did not do but did enjoy watching her and the babies graze on grass. ||My only down side was her dogs’ poop was all over the back yard so watch your step, her yard so... ||I would stay here again and again.

Our recent 3 night stay was quite comfortable. The room was spacious and the patio had a nice seating area. Marty and Terrie were easy to work with and our after dark arrivals each evening were easy to arrange. The bathroom was large with plenty of area to move around. The river-rock shower had plenty of hot water but the rock floor was a challange to stand on if you have balance issues. Our breakfasts were delicious and brought to our room each morning. Crepe morning was a special treat and the daily fresh fruit bowls were full of peaches right off the tree off the patio. Biscuits and scones were light as a feather. Due to Covid-19 we did wear masks when entering the home and exiting our room as did our hosts when we were present. Due to our late evening arrivals and morning departure times we were unable to visit the public rooms of the house. Maison De Terre is off the beaten path so drive slowly because there are plenty of deer in the area.
