Had the most immaculate night here at Manhattan Room! The food was incredibly flavorful yet simple, and pure! The drinks hit all the right spots and enhanced the entire experience! Setting and ambiance was chill, intimate, and sultry! Diego made the experience top notch with his expertise and kindness! Highly recommend!

Wow! So good. Great atmosphere, wonderful service from Sarah and the food was outstanding! The Hanger Steak was absolutely perfect. We loved the Poke Nachos also.

They opened on a Monday for a private event work dinner, I believe to try to get some word out. So there were 9 people in attendance, in the entire restaurant eating. The app of some... puff pastry was hard and very dry. The avocado butter was fire, helped a little with the bread. The salad was... meh, idk if the greens were washed tbh, the dressing was nonexistent and where it was, tasted like thickened lemon juice. The bread pudding was more like a dry piece of cake. However, my entree, Surf and Turf, was amazing, cooked flawlessly, heavy on the butter but very good none the less. Had it not been for that steak, I'd say go somewhere else. Kinda smelled like sewage in there too 😬. I hate to write so so reviews but.... after seeing they overcharged me on my statement, even less pleased. The fact that there was one table to serve, I thought everything would be honed.

Best tasting quality food. Pricey and portion size is what you’d expect for tapas grill, but the quality and service was outstanding. Free parking garage with elevator straight down to restaurant OR free street parking depending on availability. Jazz live music was playing while we were there which was very nice. Not a kid friendly place.

I had the most wonderful meal, drink and experience at Manhattan Room!
Griffin was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The live music performed by Boyd was so soothing and added so much to the moment.

Another day…another review!

Tonight my wife and I celebrated our 9th anniversary at The Manhattan Room. It was a new place for us and we decided what they hey…let’s splurge a bit. Tapas has never been my go to because it always felt weird to buy a million small plates to share. But tonight we did it and over all the experience was solid.

First, loved the atmosphere. Had a cool jazzy feel to the place and that’s what was being piped in over the speakers. Only real off putting thing about the place was a strange smell when we showed up. It smelled like their sewage lines had backed up.

Now the food…we went crazy.

Lamb meatballs (3.5 out of 5)
Chicken empanadas (1 out of 5)
Serrano ham croquettes (4.5 out of 5)
Duck fat potatoes (3 out of 5)
Hanger steak (4.5 out of 5)
Crème brûlée (2 out of 5)
Sticky toffee pudding (5 out of 5)
Chocolate mousse (2.5 out of 5)

I’ll hit the highlights and lowlights:

The 3 highlights were the croquettes, hanger steak and the stick toffee pudding. I mean I could have thrown down about 8 servings of the toffee pudding…it might actually be my new favorite dessert.

The lowlights chicken empanadas were over fried and terribly bland. But the true crime was the crème brûlée… burnt sugar and the syrup they had on top was reminiscent of robitussin.

For $91 + tip, I felt it was fairly priced for the experience.

All in all though I do plan on going back since their menu rotates. They also plan on expanding the menu to up to 50 small plates. — with Shawnda Wood at Manhattan Room Tapas Kitchen.

Met up with some friends and family, to view one of our favorite music artists. The atmosphere was very nice and metropolitan, and the staff friendly. The acoustics made for some wonderful music, but at times when the artist spoke it was harder to make out what they were saying. The venue was packed when we were there, so I highly recommend reservations or you will be waiting for a long time. Overall, a great place to meet up with your loved one, family, or friends.

We ordered quite a few dishes for the table and everything was wonderful. There was a sax player that played throughout the time we were there and he was great. The ambiance is intimate and beautiful. Our server was phenomenal. She was attentive and hospitable. Over all, our entire table had a really great experience and we look forward to coming back! Parking is a bit of an issue and they could use some more signage and light at the front door so more people know they are there.
