Motel SOCO - Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Motel SOCO and its staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our family of 4 plus our dog were stranded for a couple days, and they went the extra mile to make our unplanned time in Pagosa Springs more manageable. The rooms were well kept. The restaurant connected to the motel was a huge perk, and had very tasty food and drinks! They even have a contained space for dogs, and a big open field for kids and adults to play yard games in. I would highly recommend Motel SOCO!

I loved my stay here. It’s like the perfect combo of a hotel and an airbnb. It’s feels informal and laid back but also very clean and comfortable. The woman working the front desk was soo friendly and the bed was super comfortable. My only small suggestions would be better lighting in the room, it felt very dark when trying to read. I would definitely stay here again.

Motel soco is such a special place for me to stop now thanks to the amazing people who run it! Debbie and the rest of motel soco are some of the nicest people I've met and truly care about you and your experience there. ||The rooms are cozy and comfy and have all you need. They have a restaurant/ bar that has live music which brings such a fun energy to the place. Definitely making it a tradition to stop here on my Colorado road trips!

Cheapest spot in town, and once you get there you quickly realize why. Staff is good, location is decent, but at least where the queen suite with two twins is concerned, while having ample space for a couple kids was fantastic, the room we ended up in smelled strongly of mold, the toilet was so close to the wall so as to be unusable for anything not done standing, and the floor surrounding and inside the shower was collapsing and sinking in, and presumably the source of the mold stink (extensive and mostly-unaddressed water damage compensated for with a jerry-rigged wooden slat frame laid down over the sagging sections).

Noise wasn't an issue.

The lack of a TV didn't bother us at all.

The place is definitely quaint and cozy with a cabin-like feel.

It was just the smell, the absurd toilet placement, and the very obvious damage to the bathroom floor that dragged the experience down.

Very noisy as it's adjacent to a busy highway. Outdoor space-there is no lobby- is also near that same highway. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean but TINY. AC was unplugged and awkward to plug in. No TV, no space to hang anything. Single nightstand just a 10x10" shelf. Clean linens, lots of pillows.

I would have liked to give the Motel 5 stars because they made me feel so welcome. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They definitely get 5 stars for the customer service! The location was great and close to town. The room was clean and the bathroom was well kept.

The issue I had was the bed ? was about as stiff as a door. I had problems falling asleep. Also, I woke up often since I tossed and and turned all night due to the bed.

Perfect place to stop and hangout! Rooms were recently remodeled and super clean! The restaurant nextdoor was very convenient and all the staff was beyond friendly! Only mild complaint would be no tv, but they warn you in advance! I would recommend this to anyone staying in Pagosa!

Not a great experience for almost $200 per night. Potatoes chips in the “freshly made bed”. AC didn’t really work. Wonky bathroom. Restaurant was okay, but was not open in the morning.
This should be $80 per night.
