Delicious! My husband and I got elk burgers, and they were amazing! I highly recommend The MURPH burger. Our waitress was very sweet. Definitely would go again if we lived here! The only issue was the street parking was difficult to find a spot.

Murphy's is the perfect place to enjoy some amazing craft cocktails, reward yourself with some delicious Elk Burgers, and savor a delicious dessert all while sitting next to a creek in downtown Evergreen, CO. The fresh flavors and bright accents will make your palette sing with delight. I highly recommend trying the Evergreen Pine needle cocktail, made with Bear Creek whiskey, Fresh Pine Needle syrup made from the local Pines, grapefruit, and citrus bitters. That was amazing and bright. If you want a burger, you will want the local Elk burger.

Wicked tasty food with nice dog-friendly patio overlooking Bear Creek.
Staff very personable and helpful.
Enjoyed flavorful chipotle grilled tiger shrimp tacos, crispy rustic chicken wings and the murph burger. Topped off with the mud season sundae, amazing!
And our doggie was treated to a “pup cup” of whipped cream which he of course loved.

We were vacationing from Pennsylvania and popped in for a quick meal yet left after a wonderful dining experience. Server Taylor was an absolute delight and recommended we try a few local favorites. We started with signature cocktails, Black Lavendar and an over-the-top Smoked Saigon bourbon. AWESOME start to vacation. The plantain nachos with mango salsa were fabulous, followed by seared ahi sashimi tacos with wasabi aioli and sriracha drizzle that had the perfect balance of flavors. And while we were full we couldn’t pass on the homemade bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce. Taylor’s hospitality and unparalleled service made this meal into a dining experience. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND swinging by here. Don’t just pop by, make it to your destination!

We waited about 45 minutes for a table for 10 overlooking the creek. The meal was well worth the wait! The server was kind, kept up with drink refills and got everyone’s orders correct. We were so impressed by this place! The food was also a hit. I had the Southern Charm elk burger (medium rare) with sweet potato tots. We also shared the plantain nachos appetizer along with the shredded Brussels sprouts. Every thing we had was delicious! I highly recommend anyone passing through to stop and try this spot. You won’t be disappointed!

Note: The garlic aioli is more so just garlic heavy tartar sauce, not an aioli. They also charge $0.99 per requested container of it. So just be aware of that since the waiter did not state that it was an additional charge.

Food was AMAZING! The chicken plantain nachos were so good I didn’t even realize I was eating banana chips 😂 we ordered the Elk Black & Bleu and the MURPH. Both tasted awesome, I liked the elk a lot especially with the garlic blue cheese aioli sauce. Also get the sweet potato tots! They are a great side to go with these tasty burgers.

2 years later we visited again- the food Is still fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out quick. We love it here!!! We ordered the Murph and the dirty Frenchman as well as the green chili which I thought was a little spicy for my taste. 👅 the murph was the best!
