A Magical Evening at Nocturne Denver: Our Third Year of Holiday Jazz Bliss!

This holiday season, my husband and I had the pleasure of attending Nocturne Denver’s holiday jazz three-course meal for the third consecutive year, and once again, it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded our expectations!

From the moment we walked through the door, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the evening. The quality of service at Nocturne is truly exceptional. Mason and Hallie went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of stellar. Their attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm made us feel like cherished guests, and their recommendations for food and drink were spot-on.

Now, let's talk about the food! Each course was a delightful journey of unique and thoughtful recipes that showcased the culinary artistry of the kitchen. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it was evident that great care went into crafting each dish. Paired with delicious drinks, our meal was a symphony of taste that harmonized beautifully with the evening's jazz.

Speaking of jazz, the live performance by Drew, Paul, Heidi, and the talented ensemble was nothing short of outstanding. They curated a perfect holiday set that wrapped us in the spirit of the season. Their music filled the air with warmth and joy, creating a magical backdrop for our meal. It was a true treat to listen to such talented musicians who clearly love what they do.

We are already looking forward to our next visit for the Nat King Cole tribute night next month! Nocturne Denver has become a cherished holiday tradition for us, and we can’t wait to return for more enchanting evenings filled with incredible food, impeccable service, and soul-stirring jazz.

Oh my God!!! it has been a while since I have experienced a restaurant/jazz club like Nocturne. I don’t think you can find a better one in Denver. I would compare it to the Birdland in New York or the Jazz Playhouse in the French Quarter of New Orleans,…. Just a tad bit smaller. However, don’t let the size of this establishment shy you away. The service was top-notch, and the food was out of this world. My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and it was definitely a night to remember. JD the host was phenomenal. He called us a few days in advance to discuss our menu preferences and was there to walk us as we walked through the door. Our menu had our names printed on the front page, and the five course meal was tailored to our liking if I could give this place 10 out of five stars, I would. I highly highly highly recommend this spot if you love live jazz music, upscale atmosphere and a relaxing evening. Thank you Nocturne. We will definitely be back

My husband and I visited Nocturne in August 2024 for our wedding anniversary. We chose the Ellington Experience and I am so glad we did. This experience was quite literally the best meal we've ever had. The drink pairings were exceptional as was the service. Every employee we interacted with was courteous and helpful. JD even helped my husband coordinate to have a dozen roses delivered to the restaurant. We don't live in Denver, but we WILL be back to Nocturne. If you're looking for an intimate, romantic dinner and fantastic live music, Nocturne is the place to go.

Been here twice already — once for a date night and 2nd for my engagement celebration. The live music was perfect, and very entertaining.

The food was exquisite, I have never tried rabbit before and it was so delish.

The lowlight vibe of this place was perfect.
