4.5/5. I thought this was a fantastic lunch! Came here on a sleepy Sunday. Service was a bit slow, but the food and drinks were awesome! Pricing is probably par for the course.

Definitely recommend coming out here for some great NOLA food. Can’t wait to come back during the winter months!

We decided to make gumbo for our NOLA-themed Super Bowl party; long story short, it came out terrible. OMG. In a scramble, I searched "best gumbo in Denver." NOLA Voodoo Tavern popped up. The lady who answered the phone was so friendly, patient, and helpful. I told her how many people we were hosting and the amount we thought each person might eat. She said she would inquire with her catering manager and get back to me. Not only did she call me back promptly, but she also sent a photo of the sizes of their dishes. I placed an order for six quarts of gumbo and started my drive to the bar. When I entered, it felt like I had walked into a spot in New Orleans. The owner happened to be there. He was warm and welcoming, thanked me for ordering, and answered my questions about reheating the food. All of our guests LOVED the gumbo! From the service to the food, everything was amazing that day. I highly recommend this great tavern. We can't wait to go back and try the other dishes. Thank you for saving the day, NOLA Voodoo Tavern! We appreciate you!

This place was great!! And the servers were so nice 😊 Best ice cold root beer lol I forgot to take a picture of the fried gator nuggets because I was so hungry, but I assure you, they were DELISH. I had the fried catfish and crawfish étoufée and honestly, that was my favorite part of the whole meal. It's so flavourful and comforting, I'm just going to get a whole fat bowl next time! Catfish was soft and tender yet beautifully crispy on the outside. My husband got a cup of gumbo and that was good too, but he was GOING TO TOWN on that crawfish rotini pasta- he loved it. Loved the atmosphere, will definitely be back ❤️

Came down from Cheyenne and wanted a different kind of food than what is available up here. Tried your place and it was amazing! The staff was welcoming and the food was amazing. Ordered two of the po'boys and the combination sampler. Portions were huge so we had leftovers. If I could give more stars, I would. Thank you for superb meal. I will definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and vibe were amazing! The presentation of the restaurant from the decor, to the food, to the music was truly welcoming . You can definitely get a taste of the NOLA energy and aesthetic. The food came out quick and very fresh! The Catfish dinner was mouthwatering and the fried alligator was on point! There are multiple TVs showing different sports, and well stocked bar, and they also have a few pool tables to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Yum and Fun! ! Went to check out the new location across the street from the original spot. Such a great atmosphere, like you're walking in to meet all your friends! The owner, Henry, makes you feel like you're right at home and his crew is very attentive. This visit I had the Surf & Turf Po'Boy, it was fresh and delicious! The toasted bun was perfect! Paired it with a Copper Mule, mmm. Others in my group had the sampler Platter and the Catfish, there were no leftovers! It's a great place to meet up with friends, watch a game or play pool, and just relax and enjoy yourselves. If you don't have friends, go anyway and I guarantee you'll make some!

this place has a lot of potential..I came on a Saturday during lunch rush, and them being understaffed for the shift allowed a lot of flaws to show. The bartender was servicing the entire bar & dining room on her own to the best of her ability. Flavors are there, but overall presentation through plating & service could be executed better.

Nola Voodoo Tavern had amazing food, the owner and bartender had great attitudes, and atmosphere was awesome. I had the fried catfish with sides of hush puppies, french fries and a slice of the blueberry home made cake. This place and these dishes are a must try for sure. We will definitely be back. If you have not been, you should really check it out!
