Loved the vibes and drinks here. Great ambiance in an intimate setting. They have seasonal menus with some fun stuff, but we stuck with the basic menu as they offer $10 drinks from 5-6pm daily for happy hour.
My girlfriend really liked the Nora's Southside and I enjoyed the Nora's Buck.

Nora’s Speakeasy is a hidden gem with the perfect moody atmosphere for a date night or a fun girls' night out. The dim lighting, vintage decor, and intimate vibe make it a cozy yet lively spot to unwind. The staff truly elevate the experience—Gabe, Brandon, and Rachis were all incredibly personable and brought creativity to every drink they crafted. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail or something unique, they’ve got you covered. Overall, a fantastic experience! If you haven’t been yet, definitely pop in and check it out.

A little “speakeasy” near downtown. In the basement it is a nice slightly dark bar. Unfortunately with the happy hour bells and it being Friday, it was busy enough that it is a bit loader than I would like. They had nice music playing but the size of the place makes people talking seem very loud and drown it out. A bar of about 6 seats and then a small variety of booths and Re is a private room near the entrance by the rest rooms. Nice drink menu with a selection of standard mixed drinks and then each got a “Nora’s” twist. They also have a rotating season drink menu and have a small bites menu. The coolest was they offer jars for purchase so you can make your own cocktails at home. They can get two fills of it to get the most out of your purchase. They only have one style but the bartender said they hope to make more styles. Plenty of nearby parking and close to more restaurants.

Best speak easy in the Boulder area! Amazing drinks with wide variety, knowledgeable/creative staff & great snacks. Can’t wait to go back on our next trip! Trust me, you won’t regret it

Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff was wonderful and very helpful with drink selections. The history and photos of Nora are such a sweet tribute. Highly recommend!

We came in at around 8:30pm on NYE knowing it was probably going to be busy. There’s a sign at the front that says “take a seat and we’ll come to you”. We waited for a table to open up and a standing table in the middle opened up so we stood there for about 20 minutes and no one approached us. We watched a male bartender walk the floor at least 5 or 6 times while we waited to be approached. There was also what appeared to be a bar back walking around that didn’t notice us either.

A table in the back corner by the entrance opened up so we moved to that table to see if we would then be approached. We sat there with dirty glasses for 10 minutes until the bar back bussed them away. The male bartender then came up to us and asked if we had been helped yet and we said no. For some reason, he still walked away without asking if we needed anything or were ready to order and I didn’t get a chance to let him know we were ready as he walked away too quickly. We were ready to order as we had been looking at the menu for over 30 minutes at that point.

We watched as he walked around talking to other tables taking orders and continued to not approach us. There were more people that continued to come in and were waiting so we ended up leaving and giving our table to another couple. We left at 9:15pm about 45 minutes later with no service.

Living in Louisville, you get familiar with the demographics, which is primarily young families and established individuals who have been here for many years. We don’t necessarily fit the mold, being young(ish) non-white transplants in Colorado who moved here post-grad. My partner and I often joke that it’s the reason we get treated differently at local businesses. Whether these specifics have anything to do with our experiences or not, it’s interesting to continuously experience this at businesses in Boulder and the surrounding areas. I used to never leave bad reviews, let alone for small businesses. Times have changed, the rough of COVID is over, and my patience for accepting being treated poorly by service workers is running thin. I felt inclined to share our unfortunate experience. I truly hope this doesn’t happen to others.

Really cool downstairs place kinda hidden in downtown Louisville. Lots of unique drinks to try. Highly recommend to checkout for those looking for an authentic old-time speakeasy environment!

This place definitely has speakeasy vibes! You go downstairs into a basement and through a nondescript door and voila there is this cute little bar.

Our drinks were fantastic. Our server was very slow. It wasn’t busy but it took 10 minutes for her to come back and get our drink over. When we were ready to leave, it took longer to get our bill paid.
I’d rather just order/pay at the bar than have table service at a place like this!
