I've never immediately been questioned by security about my purpose for being at a PUBLIC LIBRARY during opening hours the second I walk into the place. He wanted to know exactly why I was there, who I was meeting, and if we had a meeting room reserved. Maybe it was because I came in with a person of color but security could really tone it down a notch.

I used to come here to study and read books, but man has it gone down the drain. If it's not the staff carrying on loud conversations, it's ignorant people's phones going off. Nobody thinks to silence their phone when they come here, and the staff don't even bother to say anything about it. Is this a library or a recreation center? I would rather study at Barnes and Noble. you could hear a pen drop in that place, but thats a store not a place to study. Its sad because thats how the Sand Creel branch used to be but not anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore :/

The Pikes Peak Library district website clearly states that every branch has mobile drop off. So I drove over today to drop off 2 books. No mobile drop off to be found. I had planned to drop them off inside, as the branch is open on Saturdays, but it was closed due to a plumbing issue. Which would not be a problem if there was a mobile drop off as is listed. I called the district phone number, no information was available about mobile drop off for there. Tried calling the branch, to be expected no one was there. Searched on the website, only thing to be found is the assurance that every branch has a mobile drop off.

I love this branch, ESPECIALLY the guy who helps run the studio for performing artists located there. His name is Keagan, and he's been the most universally nice and helpful person I've ever associated with my favorite branch of the state's public service offices and businesses. I love the public library, thanks for helping me get my card back, teaching me about Overdrive, and helping me and my children achieve our dreams! ❤️

3/3/2022 - Today I had the pleasure of returning to this branch to take advantage of the music studio for recording artists they have. The aforementioned librarian was also the person who helped me with the recording process, and he was incredible to work with! I would give more stars if I could, please be kind to all the people who work for the library!!! I'll be back in April with a more solid plan, can't wait!

Staff is wonderful, knowledgeable & pleasant. There is new staff from years ago. A few of the original staff is still there . They seem to know what they're doing, all of them. 95% of the time it's quiet & pleasant, but on the kids' days off, in the weekdays, is a bit too noisy & staff isnt assists doing their job. The Blond.guy w/ the glasses is always on his J.O.B! Very intelligent & knowing about those computers! Very helpful! 🌹

I use the computer for printing. I attend there once time. I was awkward with the printing for cost. I asked staff, I need his helping printing debit card or coin in the machine. I was not used to it. I learned it. Next time, I will come there and I will know what I am doing.
