Pioneer Park is a cozy little gem. Plenty of seating areas and covered spots make it great for a relaxing day out. The playground, basketball courts, racquetball courts, and splash pad provide lots of fun options for the kids. Our only small gripe was that the water in the splash pad was a bit chilly, so the kids couldn't play for too long. Overall, a wonderful spot for family fun.

This is a sweet little park with lots of tables and pavilions with charcoal grills, amphitheater, bathrooms, playgrounds, etc… Keep pets on leash! They generally provide doggie poop bags.
Summer hours: Dawn to 10pm
From April to November 1st
Winter hours: Dawn to dusk
From November to March
Winter hours water is turned off!

The only downside I can figure is that many times that I have been there, most of the trash bins are over flowing.

I hope my review is helpful for others. It is a very nice little park. Good for family gatherings. Even the grass is kept up nice. Throw a blanket out under one of the bigs trees that are there. Have a picnic or just kick back and read a book, etc…

This is such a nice park. Very shade playground equipment is in the shade. It makes it nice for the kids to play very large grassy areas for the children to run and play

Stately trees dot the verdant landscape of this picturesque park with thoughtful amenities. A handicap accessible path leads to a pad for viewing the theater, there are outlets to charge your wheelchair on the pad, and bathrooms behind the theater. A fun splash pad offers respite from summer heat, and covered pavilions, BBQ grills, play equipment, basketball and racquetball courts round out the diverse features for anyone's enjoyment.

We love this park and visit it when we come to town to visit grandparents.. great splash pad for the kids... clean restrooms..overall great park!

This is a really nice park. My kids love it. There is a newer playground set, swings, racquetball courts, a splash pad coming soon, and lots and lots of grass. The town does a great job maintaining this park. There are also a few pavilions for having birthdays or parties. They are a few bbq stands. The best feature of this park is the grass and the shade from the big trees. During the summers they have Thursday night at the park where they have local talent come and perform for the community.
