This place has been here forever, but has increased in capacity and in its menu. Soup is homemade everyday and is delicious. Rice dishes, awesome. Pita's obviously. Happy hour is a GREAT happy hour between 3pm(?) and 6pm. Prices are higher than I would like, but great place to check out if you are visiting and want to check out a local eatery.

Everything was so good! I ordered the grilled chicken pita with curly fries and a side of hummus. I just came into town from camping overnight and my appetite was ravenous. Pitas in Paradise took care of that swiftly. Surprising and delicious pit stop.

Casual order at-the-counter restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean (and other) foods with a great daily happy hour and a large dog friendly patio in the summer. Located in a great central part of CB. Lots of vegetarian options. Ordered some beers and rice bowls which were tasty and very filling.

Great happy hour options for an early dinner after a day on the slopes. My falafel pita was overflowing with fresh veggies, falafel, and sauce. The kids devoured their cheese pita and tomato soup. Three soup options which was nice. Quick service and fresh food!

Jack was a great bat tender and recommend great drinks. Really knows his stuff. Burgers were great. Being out of town this is super cool. Tell him hi and ask for the dusty.

Recently I visited the Pitas in Paradise on Elk Avenue in Crested Butte (they also have a location in Gunnison, which I have not yet visited).

It was lunchtime on a weekday, and the patio was packed on a beautiful June afternoon.

We waited in line to order inside near the bar area, and there were about 10 people in line ahead of us.

Once you order, they give you a number and then the wait staff brings your food to your table.

I ordered a large Caesar salad with gyro meat, and my brother ordered the O.G., which is a gyro with curly fries.

The gyro meat on my large Ceasar salad was a little dry, and their dressing was a little uninspired.

The curly fries were the highlight of the meal.

However, the patio seating was festive and there is great people-watching. The inside bar was pretty packed for a weekday afternoon, and there is ample indoor seating.

The signature dishes they have for rice bowls, unfortunately the rice was not cooked well and few grains were still brittle/hard. I don't think its healthy to eat partially cooked rice. This is a crowded place but quality of what they serve is important too. The Bombay & Calcutta bowls tasted good otherwise. Falafel was really good.

This place had excellent service, the waiting team and not to mention the professional cook for the Menu serves the best preped lamb meat in the Crested Butte area. Sliced into perfectly thin Gyro pieces for the perfect fit into Pittas style of delight that makes you wanting to come back for more. Including events at the bar and perfectly made drinks, although happy the atmosphere is while eating, we were informed to fill our evening with excitement and experience with a golf simulator that they have next door. The staff and their team made the evening all more enjoyable and it's the best Gyro eating place in the area.
