Redwood Taphouse

We visited this place a day after Thanksgiving 2024. For an early dinner. The place is a little crowded. We were served quickly and we waited for our orders about 30mins. Their food is delicious and the service is great. Since this is inside the Casino, they have a lot of clean restrooms. Overall, I would recommend eating at this place. Especially if you want to take a break from all the casino machines.

The highlight was my drink, the 60 ounces of Tito's vodka and Malibu and peach schnapps. My husband was disappointed that his food was cold - tri tip- even though it came out in a deceptive skillet, implying that the food was piping hot. The sides were small for the price and Cole slaw was bland. I left happy having consumed my drink slowly throughout the meal but my husband left sad because his drink was forgotten and the waitress had the audacity to ask him if he still wanted it, after waiting anticipatorily for half the meal. It will be a long time before we come back here , if ever.

Great Food and Cocktails!! We had the mozzarella sticks which were really great, the spicy marinara sauce was yummy but it should be served warm not refrigerator cold; also, the ranch dressing should be serve without the lid on it for presentation purposes (kind of tacky). The chicken and shrimp dish was delicious!! The Shag cocktail was really delicious and definitely plenty to share!! They were accommodating when we asked for the channel to be changed to the Olympics. The service was good. Overall a great place!!

The atmosphere is a sports bar/restaurant with way too many TV’s. The service was basic with a little bit of a wait even though it wasn’t busy. The food was horrible. I ordered a ribeye steak and my husband ordered the Redwood burger. Both of our meats were so dry you couldn’t squeeze any moisture out of it. I ordered my ribeye medium and it was beyond well done. The corn on the cob was well done and greasy. My husband had the fries and onion rings and he said they were ok. My other side was a house salad and it was okay. After eating a few bites of my steak I had to stop because it was just gross. We voiced are opinions about the meats and was told she would bring us a dessert for our troubles. My opinion the ribeye cost $28 they should have only had me pay for my salad and corn. Both my husband and I was sick when we got home. I will never go back. Service was horrible. My skillet and girlfriend’s burger was greasy. Our grilled cheese was soaked in grease.

Thee food is delicious! We have been there 3 times and have not been disappointed with the food. The staff is friendly but, the service is too slow. We went for my birthday, 4 of us, and it took forever to get our order let alone drinks. It's too bad because we really enjoy the food. Praying they step up the service... maybe more training is required.

Jamie the bartender was a BATCH, rude and dismissive. We asked details about a menu item and she lied. It ruined the the dinner for us. I had to be a Karen and complain to "the manager" Oscar, he was great and listened to my concern. He made things by for us. We'll try this place again but make sure that we don't sit at the bar. Thanks again Oscar.
