We rented private ice for 2 hours for my daughters sweet 16. Absolutely recommend 10/10. Lisa was so helpful and caring. The young people working there were polite and cheerful. Breathe of fresh air, excellent customer service. We will definitely be back!!

Took our crew here for a holiday skate session and we had a lovely time. Enjoyed the tree decorations and the front desk/skates crew was very pleasant.
The center is definitely focused on league games, not so much public use although we have high hopes for going to their cosmic skate shows on Friday and Saturday nights. There are no public tables available, and aside for the bleachers (which are not very accessible if you are skating - skates have to come off to climb the bleachers ) seating is quite limited to just a couple flat benches.
I saw they do have a party room available to rent but it's huge and the pricing for that is also, of course. So, for a 20+ person party, the room would be fine but for our little 8 person group there wasn't much accommodation. Although the party room sign advertised pizza as an upgrade, we didn't see any on site food. Just one vending machine with some drinks/candy and another one with shoe laces, so don't come hungry.
We were also surprised by no arcade games! There's tons of electrical available (and space) underneath the bleachers for some video games/alternative activity machines... fingers crossed they add some in the future! I imagine an arcade would be a great expansion experience - not everyone in our group was a great skater and having alternatives would have enhanced our fun a lot by giving them another outlet. Plus, I imagine there'd be extra revenue from an arcade on league game nights too... probably lots of siblings without much to do while waiting for their family members games.

Bathrooms went generous and clean, skates were surprisingly comfortable, pricing was $15 for the 2 hr skate + $5 for the rental, pretty decent! Staff was fun, I asked the skate guard for tips on skating and he was cheerful and willing - sadly, I didn't transform into an amazing skater in 30 minutes, but definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be back! They did have little skate helping "walker" type devices for the littles to use... seemed to keep the under 12 crowd having a positive experience.

There are only a few places for curling on the Western Slope, and this is one of them. They offer an excellent "Learn to Curl" session, and they have both winter and spring leagues. The spring league just started.

It seems to be an excellent place for skaters, too. They have their own hockey team, and they seem to have designated hours for certain types of skating. Before our curling league on Friday night, it was a talented group of young women figure skaters. Later on, they made it fairly dark and added disco lighting. Some of those kids were really shredding the ice!

Friendly staff & great prices. Unfortunatly nothing for beginners to hold too. I noticed that many of the skates were loosely tied & that I honestly think was the biggest concern. Skaters down like 1,2,3 constantly throughout the 2 hours of open skate. I think it rooted back too a lack of instruction & loosely tied skates. The ice was a bit chipped up but most all grateful that there is an ice rink & availabe to the public. Will definatetly come back soon! Thank you!

I love this place it's awesome what they have done for the community especially for the kids ! Just one thing I have a problem with is I feel like if ur kid plays hockey on the team they should get something in return like a punch pass or a discount something we already spend so much money on the sport and on other team expenses that the kids should be able to get something in return ! Having to pay $30 something every time I take my boys skating is kinda ridiculous just saying come up with something for the kids on the team and I bet u get them at the rink more thank u !

I absolutely LOVE this rink. I moved from Illinois to Moab, UT for the Summer and this is the closest rink- so I came to Grand Junction for a few days to skate. It’s super clean and updated, and from my experience it isn’t super busy so you don’t have to worry about people falling all over each other on the ice. The staff was also nice and very helpful.

If I could give a 0 I would ,and we haven't even had the party yet.The lady in charge is one of the rudest and dishonest professional I have ever dealt with. If I could cancle I would.I have 12 grandchildren. They will NEVER GET ONE MORE CENT FROM ME! I got a call from Julie.I did take my family, and Julie was amazing! There was no need for a refund!We had a wonderful time.I think we may have found a new gig.Jake was very helpful and kind.
Anthony was very pleasant as he welcomed the guest.And I am sorry I can't remember the girl at the skate counters name,but she was great s well. I enjoyed myself so much and just watching everything 😌. All in all well done.
