Making my way back to the coast. It was inexpensive, I expected better. I have NEVER encountered a mattress like this! 2nd floor, rm 208. Maybe the downstairs, no carpet, pet friendly rooms are less…”yuck”. Front desk ladies were very nice.

For $55 this gets 6/5 stars. Old hotel. Old rooms. Could use a little more TLC, but for the price it’s a bargain. If you look for things wrong with your room you’ll find them. If you want a cheap place to sleep that is relatively clean and very safe? This is it. Only complaint was my AC didn’t cool as well as it should. End of September tho so I just opened the window and fell asleep just fine despite the nearby interstate

Positive: Price was right. Negative: The rooms need updating. Our curtains were not working properly so they could not be closed and we had to sleep all night with a bright light outside the window.

At least it was only one night for us. The room was very dated in decor but not well maintained. |The swinging door lock was broken. The shower rod was bent, barely supporting the shower curtain. Despite wanting showers, we didn't take any. It was too awful. |The staff was kind. That's in their favor.

This has to be the nicest Rodeway Inn I've stayed at, and they're definitely not all this nice. The ladies at check-in were more than kind. I recently learned that this is under new ownership, so perhaps that's why it's kept so well. I'll be back for sure!
